For favorite classic, Oscar Wilde’s plays, or Dorian, or De Profundis. Maybe I’ll really cheat and say my favorite classic is his collected works, because that covers all of it!

For favorite modern bit of fiction, I have two: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell and The Keep by Jennifer Egan. I reread The Keep about once a year, usually in spring, because that story (and the story within the story) is evergreen for me. It’s perfectly crafted and the perfect length to read in a day. Cloud Atlas is just mind-expanding and a great example of one author containing multitudes. It’s a book that I have to put down to take a breath and marvel over.

This is really difficult to narrow down, but if it’s any band alive or dead I feel like you have to take advantage of that…

So first, 1970 era Led Zeppelin to get it started with a good old rock & roll jam sesh.

Then, because its my damn music festival Nirvana is gonna headline day two. We need Kurt more than ever these days.

Queen are gonna finish out day three, because its Queen, and Freddie was put on this earth to entertain and fill the largest of festival spaces and would surely belt out the grandest finale imaginable.

My favorite movie and why, that is a tough one!

I guess I will say that my favorite movie is Annihilation. Because I’ve watched it over and over again and seldom is there a day where I don’t think about it. First it is very beautiful. The effects are gorgeous. It manages to be both upsetting and colorful. I love that. The story is well done. It has a thought provoking ending that doesn’t feel like a heap of tacked on bullshit. It has Oscar Isaac looking cute in flashbacks. It has well realized female characters. It is creative and different with its action and horror sequences. It uses folk music to chilling effect and it encapsulates the kind of things I would like to accomplish in my own storytelling.

Honestly, if the world ended my clothes probably wouldn’t change. Still t-shirts and jeans, just they’d probably end up really really grubby.

I think i would practice drawing a TON and maybe learn how to animate, because that’s something i always want to do but never have time to because of school. Also I’d try to pin down my style, like fill my wardrobe with stuff i actually want to wear (once i figure out what that even is gfhjdsk).

First one is from @shewantsitall and she asked if I was a Broadway producer with millions of dollars and no limitations apart from my show has to be a revival, which show would I revive and who would I cast? I’d probably want to revive Newsies or Legally Blonde. I think Newsies is pretty relevant to right now, as there’s a lot of change going on. And Legally Blonde because it shows that just because someone looks a certain way they can still be successful. I’m not sure who I’d cast though.

Second one is from @unofficialthespianlesbian and she asked if I could be in a fairy tale which fairy tale would I choose and who would I be? Uhhh that one’s tough. I’d wanna be the Donkey in Shrek I think. Idk if that counts as a fairy tale but he’s pretty funny and I just like to talk endlessly sometimes.
