FIND VIKTOR NOW AT ASTONISHEE.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIKTOR.
when vĂĹĽa was small, he heard legends of this giant stone golem from thousands of years before, who defended the land. his father mentions their own people, tucked in between the corners of demacia, had similar stories. a golem. a creature ordered to help, to defend, to aid. viktor became obsessed with the idea of such creatures, wanting to create one to defend and aid his people in the undercity. a golem made from metal and circuit, breathing steam and power, not chemicals. painted gold, like the sun, his favorite color. and he went on to create said golem when he sneaked into the academy and under stainwick's mastery. the golem worked, marvelously so. but his mother fell ill for what would be the last time, and viki had to return to entresol to take care of her. when he returned, his mother buried, the golem had been stolen. his life's work, taken by his professor and sabotaged by the man's ignorance. the golem was lost to the bowels of the sump, likely forever, after it broke down and lost communication with the surface. viktor almost gave up everything, but heimerdinger found him, convinced him to stay and become his assistant. the subsequent facts are known to us, what happens one bright spring morning that changes the world forever. but the golem remained there, gathering soot and dirt â until the herald found them, and breathed life into his creature like the old legends of his people. now the golem roams the undercity, doing what they are meant to do.
make that blorbo disabled. hit them with the disability beam. especially if they obviously were or should have been disabled in canon but canon didn't meaningfully dwell on it

Gaza Soup Kitchen is still running and feeding people in Gaza City!
Right now we have 7 kitchens running in and around Gaza City, 5 water trucks delivering fresh water every morning, and our health clinic is still seeing patients. Sadly, our classroom was bombedâbut weâve pivoted to something bigger: Delivered 4,250 food parcels so far; another 2,550 parcels ready to go; in the middle area, we delivered 600 parcels and opened a new kitchen; we keep showing up for hospitals with meals. Each food parcel = 40â60 meals. Itâs not just about helping one familyâit feeds whole networks of relatives, neighbors, and displaced people. In doing this, weâre also showing the world (and the bad actors watching us) that you can give away a lot of food in Gaza without harming Palestinians. Our signage makes that crystal clear. One moving moment: weâve been operating from inside an Orthodox and Catholic church. Families shelter there, and they benefit from the food too. Our young teamâmany who had never met a Christian beforeâare learning about unity and friendship in real time. Feeding people from a church feels like something Jesus himself would have blessed. We hear the drones above us, and we know they donât like what weâre doing. But weâll keep feeding as long as weâre allowed. Our system works: families sign up on a link, we close it when full, assemble the food, and text pickup times. No chaos, no exploitationâjust neighbors helping neighbors. Each distribution serves 500â1,000 people with dignity.

sometimes I worry I'm writing viktor wrong because i don't write good ole' machine herald viktor? not that i want to? and i did some canon blending anyways? but the mere sight of someone preferring league viktor makes me think i am doing this wrong.

hi please donate to keep a widow and her four young children from gaza from starving. this campaign is vetted by association, tohaâs husband mohammed al shawish was #86 on the gazavetters list. unfortunately they were being scammed by the original person running the campaign and it was eventually deactivated. mohammed was killed in may and these donations are the only thing keeping my friend and her kids alive
here is further documentation proving the legitimacy of this fundraiser. thank you
what i say : â â â viktor is independent, private, and quite a perfectionist.
what i mean : â â â â he doesn't trust anyone to stay. the only two people who have always been by his side died, the doctor hurt rio. he learned early that trusting outsiders is the quickest route for hurt and disappoint. a desire is a weakness, to want affection is to show the soft underbelly to the sharp point of a knife. he is terrified of being judged â or worse, pitied. he may seem mysterious, guarded behind dry wit and the comfort of a position in the academy, but in truth it's all walls to keep himself safe from that pity everyone shows in their eyes when they see the leg, the mobility aids, the medicine to keep his lungs going just a little longer. ultimately, he thinks himself rotten, unlovable, wrong, and every misstep, misjudgment, pain day, is only proof of that. so he tries his hardest to erase his rot, to cure what he considers to be weaknesses.
there is violence against ethnic groups happening all across the world, and while it is so important to focus on the palestinian genocide because awareness and liberation for one group opens avenues for other groups, it is also inexcusable, in an era of endless information accessible at our fingertips, in machines that we hold 8+ hours a day to be silent or uneducated on oppression simply because it is not covered in mainstream media, bottom line. that said, every day is an opportunity to learn and to do better, so i have compiled this information for those wishing to widen their lens outside of what is being widely covered, and for those wishing to help. sudan:

this is a non exhaustive resource. violence, oppression and genocide towards minority groups is widespread and ongoing, and not limited to these groups or resources. remaining uneducated is a choice, and an inexcusable one to make. the same systems used to oppress and kill ethnic groups across the world can be used on you, too.
if i have misspoken or added something that should not be here or is problematic, please let me know in the notes. please also feel free to make your own additions to this post.

also. so we are clear. my viktor is a jewish gay trans masculine person ( he / him ) . his people are jewish, his culture is jewish. i don't have enough authority or heart to fictionalize a name for this ethno religion without deep consult with jewish friends, etc, so i use my writing skills and code it as much and as blatantly as possible.
â Âť â â â ondĹej herrschwitz . born far away from zaun, in demancian - colonized & noxian - controlled lands. studious, gentle & possessed with a dry wit that would follow down the bloodline to his only child. ondĹej believed that his people, no matter what, no matter where, belonged to their lands of choice â the ancient scripts spoke of the shuriman desert, eons before anyone of his family could ever be born, so to him & others, their land walked with their hearts and took root under their feet. his child's birth came with great joy, soon turned into great tragedy: a sickness, one that twisted bone, stole breath, burned nerves. the child never learned to crawl like other children, but the child learned about stars before learning to speak. ondĹej heard of a city of progress, someplace south that could perhaps offer his family better chances than the disputed grounds they lived in, and could perhaps offer his child the medical support so necessary. but it was not piltover that harbored them; no proper documents, no house or title of their own, the family went deep under to the entresol level of the undercity. there, the metal sculptor became a metallurgical worker. fourteen, twenty hours a day along his once - bookbinder wife in hopes they could afford both food and medicine. it wouldn't do. ondĹej would not conform to this life, this exploitation from both chem - lords & piltovans. thus, the man joined a protest here, an union there. gathered his comrades and friends, joined a revolution that would only end in blood. ondĹej died days after an important holy day for his people, during a factory strike. enforcers were called, and those not killed thrown in stillwater. mouths speak that such bloody demonstration of power ignited the fire of the riot on the bridge of progress â a movement that also ended in red. ondĹej was survived by his wife, eliĹĄka herrschwitz, and his son, viktor.
