i   don't   know   who   needs   to   hear   this   and   i   know   that   it's   mainly   the   indie   community   that   use   alternate   faceclaims   for   their   muses   and   while   there's   nothing   wrong   with   that   it   starts   to   become   an   issue   when   your   main   faceclaim   is   a   non   mixed   person   of   colour   but   your   alt   faceclaim   is   mixed   –––   or   worse,   mixed   with   white.   or   even   worse,   your   main   faceclaim   is   a   person   of   colour   but   for   some   reason   the   alt   is   white?   (   which   i   have   seen   )   i   understand   that   it   doesn't   seem   that   deep   because   it's   an   alt   faceclaim   rather   than   a   familial   connection   but   it   just   perpetuates   colourism   and   causes   more   harm   in   the   long   run.
