Guys Shackled

Life in the local jail offers little excitement, especially on the weekends.

Yet, this is the place where he will have to spend his weekends for a year.

He had been sentenced to 60 days in jail for a DUI offense. He was allowed to serve this sentence over the weekends. He was grateful for this, as it meant he could keep his job as an IT specialist. At the same time, his life has now become rather boring.

While all his friends gather on Friday evenings to kick off the weekend, he has to report to the local jail at that same moment. That’s when the same routine begins. He has to strip completely naked, undergo a body search, and receive his prison uniform. It's a blue jumpsuit and a pair of plastic slides, which he usually wears barefoot.

After this, he is escorted to his cell, along with a small group of fellow inmates who also have to report for their weekend sentences.

This is now the fourth weekend he’s spent in the local jail. He has a regular cellmate. The two men are about the same age and get along quite well.

They spend almost 48 hours together in the cell. Sometimes they play games together, and very often they sleep to pass the time.

In this picture, the inmate wakes up around 4 PM after a three-hour nap. His cellmate is sitting on the toilet. Initially, it was a bit awkward to have to poop next to each other. But now they’ve adjusted to it and don’t care anymore. They realize there’s no other option. They’ve come to see each other as roommates of sorts.

In about an hour, they’ll be allowed out of their cell for the ‘delicious’ evening meal. Afterward, they’ll be locked back up together for 12 more hours. They'll spend their Saturday night as usual. First, a quick nap. Then, they’ll move on to a regular ritual to keep things interesting.

The two young men have a competition to see who can last the longest while masturbating. Whoever holds out the longest without finishing wins and gets an extra dessert from the commissary.
