Soap POV/Notes.
An invisible force, hidden away from the eyes of beings who didn't have magic - non-aware spellcasters, non-hybrids. It's been there for a while, but barely anyone knew how long it's been there - the population who knew 'bout it wasn't about to tell about the only sanctuary they had for the hybrids.. or so 've heard! Spellcasters.. not too much were welcomed. We barely made it out of there alive, me, deer an' Elle.. deer bein' that kid from Special Target Division.. His name.. 'ts Jeremy, right? Or twas it deer actually jus' deer..??
The guardian there.. eeuhh. Makes me shiver 'bout thinkin' o' him. Before I mentioned tha' Elle revived me, he looked scary β scarier than any other hybrid I had tae deal with! Big ol' antlers an' a big ole deer half body- at least tat I think. He did a big defensive burst of magic - thinkin that it'd scare us straight!! Lil does he know... HAH! 'Kay, actually, it was startlin'. All hybrids, especially them with magic, are quiite scary for us militia, even if we were taught how tae handle em.
Maybe we'll see em again. Maybe. If we go towards dat area in anotha' mission. Seemed kinda passive 'round Deer. Prolly cause he's a bit...weird. excited 'bout the magic usage on 'im. The guy was lifted up a bit in th' air an dragged back once he tried tae wander off tae look around.

open starter :) ghost vers
Breathing heavy - the air seemed tight with tension, the only sound in the gym was the occasional squeak of his shoes when he backed away to get a drink of water. Ghost's knuckles were bleeding, stinging with the recognizable pain of pushing his anger, his loss, his emotions into a bottle, shaking that bottle up and releasing the cork onto the punching bag. His mind was all over the place apart from him abusing his knuckles.

A mumble left him, his breathing ragged as he drew up a breath, releasing it into the air. Sweat damped his mask, but he didn't care, didn't THINK. His vest and everything that he would need for an op was tossed randomly into his roomβthough, he made sure that none of it was brokenβbefore he had made his way to the gym to punch the bag. It was already pretty late at night, but it was another one of those nights - sleepless even if Ghost was exhausted.
He couldn't sleep. Nor would he try.
Ghost knew how these nights went. Wake up from a nightmare of his comrade- the only one he considered close-Johnny, dying again and again. Just shy of them getting revenge on Makarov.
*THROWS BARS SOAP AT EVERYONE*

Johnny is clearly unsettled and caught off guard by the bar of soap, it slamming into his face. Yeouch. Pretty sure he has a bloody nose FROM HIS OWN NAME!! SOAP!!

Ghost is just staring at the soap, his hand had caught it instinctively - Johnny has thrown shit at him, helping his instinctual reaction to catch things. A gruff sound escaped him, much like a chuckle.

Elle is trying to get an IV into a bleeding soldier, ducking her head down low when something sounded like it was aiming for him - pausing when something hit the wounded man in the face.
It was fucking soap. A bar of soap.
Elle's cracking up already! She was tryna keep it quiet, his shoulders shaking as he tried to refocus.
Silence is being heard in Price's room, though not for long as something breaks into the window. An item. Which is quickly recognized by the captain when he tried to aim at the object, only to see it was a bright pink bar of soap.
Ironic.
BECAUSE RHEY ARE MISSING THEIR FUCKING SOAP (johnny).

Soap's staring at the catnip, glancing over at his sister who was already crouching down next to him. Both of the MacTavish's swipe their finger across the catnip, takin a big ol' whiff. Why? Because yes.

Ahem. Coughs. Cracks knuckles.
Oh nooo I say dramatically as I start writing BOTH the ghost starter AND more lore 'bout the au.

The feeling of exhaustion nipped at Johnny's eyelids, his eyes drooping. It was unusual for the soldier, so battle-ready, to be this exhausted β He hadn't slept for.. eh.. he couldn't remember. It took a few seconds for Johnny's eyes to blink open, fluttering closed; lasting another second longer than last time, then open. Rinse and repeat. So when his body finally flumps against the chair, the object creaks beneath his adjusted weight. The creaking didn't stir Johnny up from his age of rest in the lounge of the base, but the feeling of falling did.
He fell, his eyes opening wide under what seemed to be an ocean - his body arching as he thrashed in the grip of the liquid, his body slowly peeling itself downwards. A grunt left him when he landed back first β hands immediately finding purchase on his waist, specifically the backside of it as he urged his tired body to sit up. His blue eyes finally opened again to really look around the area.
Finding himself.. in a different place than the lounge.
β...Oh, Ghost is gonna be s'mad. β
The words left his mouth in a matter of seconds as Johnny finally found his feet to stand. Where was he?
Tundra kept pressure on the wound. Counting in her head till 5 minutes had passed. "There, the bleeding should of stopped now." She moved her hands off the wounds. "I'm going to clean the wound now, it won't be pleasant. But it shouldn't be very painful. If it hurts too much, let me know." Tundra removed the old packing and began to clean up the wound with some wet gauze. So far the wound looked like it was healing nicely.
"Can you tell me about the events leading up to you getting shot?" She asked. Trying to get Soaps mind off her changing his bandages. "Any information at all would be helpful."

A heavy breath, one that was hitched, before being exhaled from him. The pain still lingered, increasing when the air nipped at the wound. Johnny tried to hide the slight grimace he held on his face, his hand now tightly nestled in his shirt, keeping it up so Tundra could re-bandage his wound. His mind ran back the memory of the mission, the sleight of hand that fate held on him.
God's. He wondered what Ghost was thinkinβ he probably wasn't worryin' bout the scotsman, considering last time he went missin'.. Johnny truly needed to put another quarter in the 'Scotsman goes missing' jar - already half full with quarters. Just from him disappearin' randomly, from hangouts, meetings, or even simply his room!β or well. Ghost's room. Nobody needed to know that.
Then, the memories replayed.
The feeling of his wounds catching up to him, the worst of it all being the gunshot wound to the abdomen. It was a mission gone wrong. It was supposed to be an easy Intel gather on the place that they noted the signals from an old friend - KΓΆnig, the kortac group's colonel. Turned out t'be an ambush, catching both him and his men off-guard.
His legs were weak, he remembered-the feeling of 'em almost giving out underneath him- that as much. The blood loss had almost went to his head, he had to just sit down from the dizzying motions and bullets that whizzed past him, his body eventually slumping. Head falling down, almost hitting the pavement if his hands weren't quickβas quick as they could beβ to cushion his landing, eyes finally closing.

Tundra's eyes widened like saucers at him mentioning the bullet to the head. She'd seen the scar on his head but was more focused on getting him stable. She was about to ask about it, when she noticed the red splotch growing on his side. "The wound reopened." Tundra got up and walked over to a cabinet. "I'll need to clean and rebandage it."
The medic pulled back her hair tight and washed her hands. "It's not going to be very comfortable. I can offer some pain meds, but right now I'm going to have to stop the bleeding." She finished, put on some gloves, and grabbed some gauze.
"I'm going to lift up your shirt and apply pressure. This is going to hurt. You can squeeze my shoulder if it'll help." She crouched down next to him and put some gauze over the wound, than applied pressure. Pressing her weight against the GSW. Her face turning tight as she began counting the seconds in her head.
"You can squeeze my shoulder if it'll helpβ" The words didn't decipher emselves into his mind, his teeth finding the grit of his shirt when she lifted it, nails digging moons into the palms of his hands. To say that it was gonna hurt - was an understatement. He'd usually never was conscious when his bandages needed to be changed.. Unless it was somethin' only he could'a changed.
But this? This hurt worse than Ghost's punches! Honestly, swear to his memaw's- nope, not gonna swear on his memaw's life. That would be dishonorable if his family ever found out 'bout it. He kept his grip on his shirt between his teeth, grinding them down so hard he could feel the pain pulse even more. Wow. Bad idea.
