Just Stuff

Our wonderful chef at my work approached me with a tray full of truffles and toffee he had made (which looked amazing) and was happily explaining to me what each one was and that he would love for me to try some. I apprehensively told him that I was vegan and that I couldn’t have them. He immediately was like “oh my wife is vegan!” and started apologizing for tempting me with his desserts. I thanked him for the offer and he left, a few minutes later when I returned to my office there was a very large bowl of cooked broccoli on my desk 😄. Being vegan is a new thing for me and it still feels weird telling people, but this gave me such an amazing feeling of love and acceptance 💕
