Medical Bill Support for Linda Tillery

Greetings Dear GoFundMe community. It’s been quite a while since I’ve checked in so here’s an update on my activities. But first, let me thank all of you for your continued support. I couldn’t have made it this far without your contributions to this campaign. Now, I have a special request - I’m trying to finish the recording I began back in 2022. All was going well for a fall release then COVID struck. The American economy came to a grinding halt. Concert venues and night clubs shut down and I was moved into a senior care facility due to my complicated mix of health issues. The remaining funds for my recording were used to cover the cost of care and insurance copays. So now I want to finish that recording and need to raise $7000 to complete the project. *This includes additional studio time, mixing, mastering and distribution. It can be done and I’m asking you to help me complete what will be my first solo recording since “Secrets” in 1985. This CD, “Alabama Shoes” would also be an additional source of income. Give what you can. Here’s What Else I’ve Been Up To Last year at my 75th Birthday concert I was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse of Berkeley, CA and this past March I was honored by SF Jazz as part of their month long tribute to local women artists in Jazz and Beyond. It was a spectacular evening as 20 of my musician colleagues were on hand to throw down some scintillating soul music. The Cultural Heritage Choir was also on the bill and in great form. (See new photos) Another bright moment was Olivia Travel’s 50th Anniversary was celebrated on two back to back cruises. The joy of being amongst Women’s Music’s brightest stars was off the charts. Upon returning home, I tested positive for COVID, took Plaxovid and recovered fairly quickly. On the health front: In July of last year I underwent a successful aortic valve replacement surgery. In March of this year I had a toe amputated and am due this fall to have a second valve replacement surgery (tricuspid valve) which will be followed by cataract surgery on both eyes. Hopefully that will be the last surgery for quite some time.” All the best - Linda Tillery

i agree with this, so you're free to ignore the rest of the post if you want, but i have feelings regarding it that tie in to everything else i've been saying that i'm gonna springboard off this for

i say this understanding how utterly frustrating it is, but part of what i mean is when this happens we need to learn to just take a breath, step away, and carry on... people should get the hint especially if it's public and you can see the person's response, but at the same time the whole second point of my post is that we have to be able to differentiate between well-meaning criticism ("i understand you might not know this, but this reinforces these ideas") and more abrasive, confrontational language ("what the fuck is your problem why would you say this") instead of treating them as the same thing; i'd venture that only one of these types of people want to see you chased off or punished, and if they don't then they need to learn better conduct (first part of the post)

it is understandable to get snappy if it happens. unless you're like, a monk, it's gonna irritate you. just don't let it get to you to the point you don't listen to it out of spite lol. for everyone else, if you see this happening, it would be a good idea to step in and say "i think they got it already", because it's true that repeating the same thing over and over is both exhausting and counterproductive

i'll reiterate my advice though and say that after a certain point, if you've already received the message yet they keep coming, ignore them. skim the reply instead of checking the notification. delete the ask. let the annoyance flow through you and then get on with your day. this is how i survive the internet

when the girlfriend of one of her victims spoke up about this on that very same tweet, anonsee's response was "well your girlfriend is racist because she said it's harder to get people to believe her because I'm a minority in a community concerned with protecting minorities that often coddles sex pests! AND she asked for it!"

yes! like her linkedin, where she talks about being a federal informant!

which we know is her linkedin because when someone posted this she admitted it

and that linkedin was only shared publicly because anonsee, as part of her tangled web of lies about how she never assaulted anyone (she assaulted multiple women), made a claim easily disproven using her own linkedin history

having been banned from several queer bars (including As You Are, the one mentioned by a victim's girlfriend in the above post) is coming literally from the people in the community that go to those bars.

in the process of grabbing these screenshots I found a post from a completely unrelated person in anonsee's local area talking about anonsee getting banned from a club the two of them were in for assaulting women:

every screenshot here has been posted by another trans woman. the linkedin is the only thing that wasn't initially posted by another trans woman, and that was because a trans woman shared it to someone else to leak for her own safety, as anonsee's previous transfeminine accusers were not believed.

First it was Zach Hadel (psychicpebbles, also part of Oneyplays and the creator of Smiling Friends) being buddies with him, then Arin Hanson’s wife Suzy wearing one of his shirts to promote his merch, then we got one of Mr Beast’s colleague that had his art displayed on her walls, SrPelo used to interact with Shadman (and who knows if he regretted it or not-)

and now we have Gooseworx “joking” about taking Shadman’s place when he got arrested along with Jobby being a fan of Shadman
