Bored Out In Brooklyn

Today we explore the east village, particularly Astor Place and St. Marks Place.

Popular with New York University and Cooper Union students, this area is quite diverse with a particularly visible eastern European population.

This area is served by the 6 train at Astor, and the 4 5 6 L N Q R and W trains 14th Union Square.

Head a little bit west and you will find the R N Q and W trains at 8th Street - NYU station.

Today we headed to the Flatiron District, which is generally around midtown (Broadway, 5th Avenue, 23rd - 28th streets).

A bit fancier than some parts of the city, it is known for the Flatiron Building as well as many popular eateries, such as Eataly. 🗽😁

The subway platform at Prince Street is a bit narrow, so exit at the center if you don't feel like walking far.

World Trade Center has been renovated beautifully.

This little nook area at Essex Street station looks quite comfortable, or perfect for some sort of music video.

This area is known for attracting artists, as well as its Jewish, African American, and Latino communities.

Most of the trains in this area are above ground (elevated trains, not subway-udnerground tunnels).

It was a beautiful day in NYC today, so we decided to trekk to two different locations, one being West 4th Street.

If you're looking for a place in Brooklyn to get your organic, hard to find health products, visit this shop on Atlantic Avenue between Hoyt and Bond Streets.

Directly across from the B63/B65 bus stop.

Picked up a soup base from Ten Ichi Mart in Brooklyn. 11$.

Comes with:

Noodles, lettuce, greens, crab meat, fish cakes, two types of mushrooms, beef (to cook), soup base sauce.

I also like to add ramen in here too.

Today I had to trekk to SoHo and decided to take some images.

It was very busy and full of vendors on Canal.
