So here in Canada, for those unfamiliar, instead of going to the DMV to get your license you go to any insurance broker and get them to validate it I guess
I need some documents to prove I live here but I only have digital copies so I called, knowing they aren't going to keep them, if I could just bring in the digitals
The lady on the phone at some point said she wasn't sure, and went and asked someone about it, and seemed confused that I have digital versions of my Utility Bill and Lease Agreement
She said "I dunno, ask someone who does this every day"
.... why... do you think I'm calling?
So that lives rent free in my head now hahahaha, I can't expect her to know everything but maybe don't say "ask someone who does this every day" to a customer of the business you work at?

GlossaryAltan Asked: How tall are Thorians?
Thorians average differently, mostly taller than Humans! Except for us Air Thora. I'm the average Air Thora height, 4 foot and 11 inches tall. Earth are 5'7, Water are 5'9, and Fire are tallest at 5'11 average!
WingedCuriosity Asked: Do Air Thorians have different types of wings?
There are three types of wings in modern day. Crow-type, which is what I have! We can take off with little effort. Migratory, for those descended from nomadic Air Thora, and Bat Wings!
BigFlyer Asked: how do Thorians travel internationally without technology?
There are three ways Thorians travel internationally! One, is we have an International Airport. It is the only building in Lirien'Thor that is fully done with technology! A lot of people and goods come there.
Then, Air Thora could flr to other countries, there are waypoints across the ocean about every ten hours of flight.
And, many travel by boat! Especially those like me who are a little wary of powered flight.
JustQuestion Asked: What all kinds of horns can Fire Thorians have?
Most Fire Thora have two kinds of horns, Ram Horns, which are most desirable when they are tightly curled, or Tall Horns which are more desirable leaned back.
But the most revered are Celestial Horns, they look like Oso's horns! Traditional Fire Thora parents will try to shape their childs horns to look like them. Always failing.
The "Tall horns" as Rosie calls them is also referred to as Arches!

SemiConducted Asked: What does Thorian culture think of tattoos?
Thorians embrace tattoos! They can be such a fun way to decorate the body, I wish to get one myself of Firflow in an old art style because I think it would be very nice.
Some mages tattoo runes onto their hands, they think it'll make their magic stronger. I don't know if it really does.
RandomThought Asked: Can you pierce your horns?
I can't pierce mine because they are mostly blood vessels and things like that. But! Fire Thora do regularly pierce their horns! It's very fashionable.
This is how the horns connect to our skull! :D Wow!
GlossaryAltan Asked: How long have your parents been divorced?
My sister ran away when we were 16, 14 years ago now. We tried everything to find her, but she was never found. My mom and dad blamed each other a lot, either too strict or too loose they would say. It wasn't too long after that they got divorced. It was better they did.
Most of the time I don't really have to! I will comb my wings every other day or so if it's been windy, but mostly I just give a good rinse in the shower, kind of like a bird in a bath!

My mom and dad are two that try to do their best I think, although they are divorced now thanks to their different ways they think parenting should happen. My dad is very traditional Fire Thora. He tried to shape our horns and wanted my sister to join the guard. But, my mom like any Air Thora, is more free spirited. After my dad drove my sister away, she couldn't stand to be with him any more. I guess sometimes that's life.
I don't own the horse, but my mother does! Her name is Halder, and she is 22 years old now! I don't own a horse myself because they are a lot of work and money to keep. I have enough time only for my dear dragon sister!
RandomQ Asked: Why do you have a wood burning stove?
Oh! You must be from the Mainland! If this is your first time visiting, here, Thorians from the homeland don't use many technologies. Here we have radio, plumbing, and some lightings. But we don't use technology where it isn't needed. We use mage powered fridges with runestones and cook with fire, magic or wood. Since I am Fire Thora, I often use magic. And yes! That means no phone. We like things not to change too much in our long lives.
Howdy! This, isn't my normal kind of post. But, I'd like to emplore any of my followers or anyone reading this post to please read below.
Here, I will be talking about Nutrition for Bearded Dragons. I have no Nutrition credentials, I am not a Vet, I am not a scientist or something like that. I am just a regular fella on the internet doing my best to gather information for others to look at, and correct should I get anything wrong.
Specifically, this is regarding Calcium in greens for beardies!
As many beardie owners know, when you look for "greens list for bearded dragon" you'll find at least 10 websites pop up, each will have their own iteration on a list of greens, some including fruits, some including foragables. It got me wondering why none of these websites could agree.
Well. TLDR. They're all just making the information up. Not a single one of them cites their sources, and all of them seem to be working on things they've heard from other people but never looked in to.
So! I looked into it.
Here are my primary sources of information:
USDA Food Data Center, how you use this website is you type the food into the search bar. For leafy greens, like for bearded dragons, you go to the "SR Legacy" tab, and then you'll find the foods there. (This applies to any basic ingredient food). This website has nutritional breakdowns of every single food you can imagine, from Collard Greens to Taco Bell. (For branded foods be mindful of when the data was collected. It may be outdated.)
And! Oxalate.org This website is put together by a Kidney Stone patient, I personally have gone through and checked their sources to the best of my ability. Many of the the links are dead unfortunately.
The 1984 study cannot be taken at face value as it often vastly over-calculates the oxalate counts in several greens, Collard greens is it's most egregious case of this. If the 1984 study is the only source that comes up for a green, I have personally noted it as having No Available Data because of it's inaccuracies.
Alright. Let's get into the meat of this.
Bearded Dragons need greens that I will refer to as Calcium Positive. What this means, is that I want there to be more Calcium, then Phosphorous and Oxalic Acid combined. Phosphorous and Oxalic Acid prevent Calcium Absorption, and specifically, too much Oxalic Acid, also called Oxalates, will cause Kidney Stones in humans. (Thus why it's important for us to avoid high oxalate greens sometimes.)
So what I want, is a green that has at LEAST two times more Calcium than Phos (Phosphorous) and Ox (Oxalates) because that'll mean your beardie is getting plenty of calcium from their greens!
Here is an example of what I mean:
Calcium: 20mg (milligrams)
Phosphorous: 5mg
Oxalate: 5mg
Would mean that there is
20mg of Calcium, and, 10 mg of Phos and Ox Combined.
This means, it has a Ratio, of Calcium to Phos and Ox, of 2 : 1.
Another definition: "Staple green", this just means, something that you can feed your beardie every single day, this green is Calcium Positive, with a ratio of at LEAST 1.5 : 1 , as this is the lower end threshhold I see for folk who like to identify Staples.
Now that we know how I'm calculating these ratios. Let's go down my source-cited list of greens I regularly, and actively recommend people feed their beardies as Staple Greens.
Ratios are Calcium : Phosphorous & Oxalate
Information sourced from USDA Food Data Center and oxalate.org.
Cactus Pad: 10.25 : 1
Nutrition Table
Kale: 4.54 : 1
Nutrition Table
Collards: 3.57 : 1
Nutrition Table
Fresh Basil: 3.161 : 1
Nutrition Table
Arugula: 3.057 : 1
Nutrition Table
Beet Greens 2.85 : 1
Nutrition Table
Dandelion Green: 2.83 : 1

Nutrition Table
Mustard Greens 1.85 : 1
Nutrition Table
Rapini: 1.48 : 1
Nutrition Table
Celery 1.48 : 1
Nutrition Table
These greens are all Calcium Positive, with a minimum ratio at (or close enough to) 1.5 : 1. Please take note of the ‼️ and the note in parenthesis besides them. These are greens that should not be fed every day, but they are still Calcium Positive for greens below.
‼️ (Moderate Fiber/Protein) Dried Agar Seaweed: 12.02 : 1
Nutrition Table
‼️(Moderate Fiber) Fresh Peppermint: 3.329 : 1
Nutrition Table
‼️ (High Water) Bok Choy: 2.84 : 1
Nutrition Table
Below this message, is every green that is still Calcium Positive, but isn't quite good enough to be a Staple. If you'd like to ask "how often should I feed this?" I can't really answer. This is entirely Vibes based, as I'm not a nutritionist or anything. Personally, I wouldn't feed these below greens more than 3 times a week.
Coriander / Cilantro 1.26 : 1
Nutrition Table
‼️ (High Water) Red Leaf Lettuce 1.18 : 1
Nutrition Table
‼️ (High Water) Green Leaf Lettuce 1.24 : 1
Nutrition Table
Swiss Chard 1.11 : 1
Nutrition Table
‼️ (High Water) Romaine Lettuce 1.1 : 1
And Below, will be every Calcium Negative Green. I personally do not recommend feeding these to beardies. It won't hurt as a treat sometimes, but it provides no benefit to them for calcium. If you plan on feeding a Calcium Negative green, please be sure you provide more Calcium Positive greens in conjunction to offset the loss of Calcium, or you will be putting your Bearded Dragon at a higher risk for Metabolic Bone Disease.

If you've gotten this far. Wow! thanks for reading. Please, if there are ANY greens that are not on this list, feel free to leave a comment, send in an ask, DM me or whatever here or on Discord and I will send you the breakdown of Calcium, Phos and Ox (with links) if you'd like. Please be sure to let me know what you'd like added as this WILL be added to my list, especially if I find out there's more possible staple greens out there!

@maldefekt Asked: Can Thorians travel to other worlds?
Um, Thorians don't even really travel to other countries, let alone outside the world. I don't know if anyone can do that? I think I would have heard about it at least on the radio? I think only Voidwalker could do that, if they were even real. But that is just legends.
Questioner Asked: Why do Water and Earth Thorians have snouts, but Air and Fire don't?
I don't know, but my friend Fasrin thinks it has to do with our lifestyles from long ago. Earth Thora ate more nuts and bone for calcium. Maybe Water Thora did similar?
