Here are some queer books I’ve read lately that bring me queer joy:

The Faggot and His Friends Between Revolutions by Larry Mitchell 

This fable about a queer community is a wonderful introduction to the mindset of pleasure activism. A classic for queer activists.

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir

Sci-fi/fantasy lesbian necromancers in space. 

Everyone on the Moon is Essential Personnel by Julian K. Jarboe

Winner of this years Lambda for Sci-Fi/Horror, this short story collection chronicles a cast of beautiful and unique characters with witty, gorgeously-rendered writing that hurts so good. (This author is the creator of that wheat-not-bread grapes-not-wine trans quote that’s always circulating, so if you want to get that wisdom straight from the source, read this book!)
