spoke to a therapist today and when they asked if i wanted to change my situation i said "no, i just want to talk about it" & they were like "yeah, we can do that."
pretty good experience. i'm not there for solutions. i'm really good at solutions myself actually. i have no interest in outsourcing that.

i ran my first session of godkiller last night and had an absolute blast. it's been years since i have taken the gm/storyteller role and it's really lovely to do in a game that emphasises collaboration through its mechanics. i can sense that feeling of drift compatibility making a story happen with one of my best friends in the world. can't wait to play more.

Continuing writing with the flex nib fountain pen filled with Iroshizuku Yama-Budo ink. At this point, I've diluted the ink three times (every time it's out, I just fill the convertor with water) and as it gets lighter, the shading becomes more prominent.

one time a guy slightly mumbled when introducing himself to me at a loud archery club meeting, so i heard Eric instead of Harry.
after 4 further club meetings wherein i referred to and introduced him as Eric, he said to me - in a group setting! - "my name's not Eric, it's actually Harry."
i was so embarrassed that i became instantly livid and told him i was now going to call him Not Eric as a punishment for taking too long to correct me.
weeks later we discovered that nobody in the club knew his actual name and he was exclusively known as Not Eric - a thing he quite enjoyed, actually, because he'd never had a nickname.

For the record, you don't need "good" handwriting to get (or use) a fountain pen. Before rollerballs and gel pens were popular fountain pens were the standard- including for all the people who had messy handwriting. The benefit of fountain pens is how they feel not trying to flex your cursive or whatever else.

He’s got specific lacing advice for skates and tall boots and there are decorative patterns and I recently relaced my skate shoes for both a wide forefoot and less friction on the laces so it’s easier to tighten and loosen them but he also has lace-locking patterns so that shoes stay exactly as tight as you laced them the first time and it is just a VERY GOOD website.
Like. I’ve been buying shoes the wrong size because it’s often hard to find wide shoes but the lacing pattern for a wide forefoot means that my big hobbit feet actually fit into the previously too-tight running shoes and sneakers I had.
