Hi! Any idea what’s going on with my new friend? I couldn’t resist bringing her home, but she’s waiting outside in quarantine until I can figure out what the rusty spots are and how to fix them.

Hey there! To me this looks like some signs of under watering. The plant isnt so plump and the soil looked pretty dry as well. I have a propeller plant and it gets a lot of sun and water. Hope this helps!

So a couple of weeks ago we had new neighbours to move in and their kids walked over to me in my yard and asked me who I was talking to. I told them that I was talking to my plants. They looked so confused and asked me why I talked to my plants and I said that they like to know that they are doing a good job and that it makes them happy when you compliment them and they especially love it when you sing (I keep a radio playing for my plants to listen to).

It was the cutest thing when I saw them this morning talking to the flowers and telling them that they’re pretty~
