um i think shane cuts ilya’s toenails for him for no reason. they’re chilling on the couch and ilya has his feet shoved in shane’s belly for warmth and shane feels ilya’s nails digging in so he carefully lifts ilya’s feet up and goes to get the nail kit. he sets it down and asks ilya if ilya minded and ilya is so confused he just agreed. so there shane was cutting his boyfriend’s toenails. ilya asks him about it and he says his dad cuts his mom’s toenails all the time because she has a bad back and couldn’t bend to see them well, and his dad used to cut shane’s when he was little too. ilya’s heart is full of warmth and he sits back and watches as shane goes through it carefully. shane finishes and asks if ilya needs his nails trimmed as well and ilya shakes his head and promises he’ll let shane do his manipedi next time.
