I do not use some special ward spells to protect. I created my own guardian in few years ago, named Mell who is protecting me and myself in spirit world/astral. If I feel any danger anyway I mostly starts to visualise milky barrier around me and I focus on breathing so I wouldn’t start to panic.

There is some “physical” options how to protect myself, because someone still feel better when they see it physically like well-know salt or created sigil drawn on doors of your home. Slavic people believed snake is protector of home, so they often kept milk on doorstep for them. Probably symbols of snake can make its role as protector very well. We used for protecting home special embroidery too. They was called “opatrovniky and they looked like this.

Slavic people used amulets for protecting too, but not so much as embroidery. They did it on their clothes, on their curtains, duvets, sheets, everywhere.
