quite literally the point at which you are saying “so what if someone raped another person they shouldnt have to face consequences forever and take away their community!” is the point at which you really don’t get to criticize anyone else for anything ever. pointing out that isff’s rhetoric is harmful and is actively silencing assault victims is obviously not harassment and transmisogyny but even in the hypothetical world where it was, she is literally advocating for a world where it’s considered murder to criticize and distance yourself from people based on their harmful actions. in the ideal world she wants to live in the response to someone being transmisogynist and endangering trans women would be “that doesn’t matter”

I think acknowledging that even with your own history of trials and adversities that there are people who have it worse shouldn’t be taken as an attack on your ego or your very real experiences but a push to better the world around you because if it was bad for you, it’s especially unacceptable that there are people who objectively need more support and have faced greater intensity and frequency of violence, poverty and discrimination. None of us should be treated that way. That’s a positive attitude I don’t see many have, merely defensiveness.
