Planning to make a 12-mandala calendar using seasonal color palettes soon... Some plants don’t press well but photo prints will do the trick!  These winter colors would make a great January:)

And the gorgeous orange leaves on the other piece? Those are from a Forest Pansy Eastern Redbud tree. One of my favorite ornamental trees but I’ve never seen it with colors like that!

It just seemed like that frame and that leaf were destined to be together. I usually start with the frame and create the artwork from there. Sometimes they make themselves- I just have to listen.
