After a short pause ( yet with how incredibly thoughtful it seemed, it may as well have lasted an ETERNITY ), he merely lets out a chuckle.

     " Well, of course I am ! " he responds at last, sounding as confident as ever. " There's no use in fussing over the future - all it does is lead to stress over things you can't help. And what's the point in that ? "

     ( Judging by the slight twitch in his lips, he really ought to take his own ADVICE. )

     HE INHALES AND exhales gently through his nose in a sigh, absentmindedly rubbing his brow. He very much knows his answer to this, so his hesitancy isn't from any form of uncertainty.
