Literally so so so incredibly excited to post that Chapter Three of Your Barricade is up! Big thanks to the beautiful brain of @alphalils who wrote this chapter. We're so excited for y'all to read it.

Summary:

“What happened to ‘Fleurs are human’ and ‘fleurs are victims to decades of indoctrination’? ‘I don’t hate all fleurs, Grantaire! That’s a gross mischaracterization of my views, Grantaire!’” He mocked, raising the pitch of his voice in imitation.

Enjolras took a deep breath and set their shoulders back, extending the height difference between them.

“Just because I don’t hate the fleurs, doesn’t make their enthusiastic support for our impending deaths okay. Entertaining their behavior encourages their belief that this is all acceptable. If you don’t want to win anyways, then why are you letting them turn you into something you’re not? Why do you want to be a part of their bread and circuses?”
