WHO TOOK MY CHILD.

*Tein wanders aimlessly around Sinner's Road, carrying some bits of wood that they had found. They figured that Styx likely wasn't at his nest, so the decided to do the old fashion way of finding someone.*
"Friend Styx! One has arrived with some materials! ... Where- ... where are you- .... Friend Styx!!" *They called out, "looking" around.*

Styx’s voice lacked much energy. By the sounds of it, he was rather exhausted. He slowly walked up to Tein.
Ssss-ssssorry I vanished- I alsss-ssso went to ssssearch for materials and- many, many, MANY thingsss had happened along the way-
He flopped face down onto the ground for a moment to at least regain a little bit of energy after the eventful search. There was still much work to do. He got back up and looked at his friend.
It’ssssss good to see you Tein! Thank you for helping me find everything to repair the nesss-ssst. I admittedly had not found nearly as much-
*They were concerned hearing how exhausted he was.* “It is alright, friend Styx. One is always glad to aid in any way that they can.” *They said, doing a small bow.* “One is unsure of how much you need, but perchance this is enough?” *They asked, holding out the materials that oddly looks like pieces of a boat or raft.*
Styx looks closely at the materials, pondering how much will be needed to fix the nest. He smiles.
Yesssss. That should be more than enough to repair the nesss-ssst. Thank you, Tein.
Styx bows back.
*They smile as well.* "Of course, friend Styx. Whenever you are ready, one shall follow you to your nest." *They paused.* "Please point out if one is about to run into a wall...."
Alright, then! Off we go!
And with that, Styx begins to lead the way back. The caves are full of twists and turns.
Watch out for the wall-
*They stop before they could hit the wall, one of their lower arms reaching out to touch it. They followed the wall around a corner, still following Styx.* "One thanks you, friend Styx."

With that, Styx continues forward, remaining vigilant while traversing.
Eventually, the two make it to the final stretch of the path. As they both approach the entrance to Styx’s nest, though, a clamorous “CRASH” from his home can be heard.
WAH-
Styx jumps and yelps at the unexpected clatter.
*Tein flinched as well, dropping the supplies in the process.* "That... cannot be good..."
One sssssecond-
Styx rushes into the cave to investigate the commotion, heart pounding. That had better not have been what he thought it was. As soon as he finds the source of the noise, he drops his share of materials onto the ground in disbelief.
Oh, you cannot be ssssserious-
He then hurries back to Tein and awkwardly fidgets his claws.
Ssssso, uh-
He laughs in a mix of both stress and frustration.
The nessss-ssst may have… collapssssed- onto the ground?
*They had crouched down to pick up the materials that they had dropped.* "Oh dear.... One had thought that might have happened...." *They finished picking up the wood, standing up straight.* "We better get to work now then."
Styx, still shaken by how sudden that was, could only agree through a stressed, “uh-huh” and hurry back into the cave.
*They followed, setting the wood on the ground when they got to the now broken nest.*
"One is unsure of how to reconstruct your nest as it is different than the silken nests that Weavers have, or just a simple rock-nest that Nosks have.."
Ssssss. Indeed, it is ssssignificantly different. The wooden frame mossstly needsss nails and anything elsssse sharp to keep the piecessss in place. Luckily, I did prepare for thissss, ahead of time, sssso we do not need to worry about the nails.
Ssssso I would ssssay the firsssst sssstep would be to fix the frame.
"Very well. One shall attempt to begin." *They sat down, grabbing two pieces of wood and holding them together.*
Styx follows suit, picking up some wood and putting them together to rebuild the broken parts of the frame.
Ssssso did anything interessssting happen during your journey here?
"Not too much. Though one had met a friend. He said that he knew you, and he was coming to visit you as well. We travelled together for a bit before we parted ways, though one thinks that he shall catch up soon." *They reached for another bit of wood then paused.* "That reminds one- One's vision is still normal! Perchance once we finish fixing your nest one could properly see your face? One would need to go to a dark cave to do such.."
Styx pauses hammering a nail and perks up when he hears Tein say they saw someone who knew him and was coming to visit.
Oh! Was it Sssstylts, by any chance?
Styx resumes hammering the nail as he talks.
He did sssssay he was making his way here real sssssoon! Moving in to Sss-sssinner’s Road, actually!
And of coursss-ssse! Once the nessst is repaired, you can sssssee my face!
You did ssssay your vision is temporary, correct?
"It was Stylts, yes! He is quite an..interesting bug-... One assumes it is temporary, though one is unsure.. One is hoping it stays how it is for awhile. At least until Mei returns. One would love to be able to see their face..."
Styx smiles as he picks up another piece of wood and places it next to the previous pair of wooden pieces he had assembled.
Ah! Ssssso you have met Sssstylts then! He’sssss nice!
Styx takes another nail and starts hammering it into the frame.
I do hope you alsssso get to ssssee Mei’s face!
*A rumbling is heard. It sounds like a really big... something*
*Stylts digs through the ceiling and falls in*
"Greetingsss, brother Sss-Styx! Oh hi Tien!"
*A cart filled with random crap fall from the hole as well*
Styx suddenly stops hammering, his eyes widening when he hears the rumbling. He looks up at the ceiling and flinches when Stylts falls.
Ah! Greetingssss, Sss-ssstylts! It is great to finally meet you in persssson-
Styx yelps when the cart falls from the ceiling next.
HIGHER BEINGSSSS ABOVE-
"That'sss mine, don't worry about it. But it is good to finally meet you!"
*Stylts stands up (he's slightly taller that styx) and hugs his new friend*

Styx hugs Stylts in return.
I hope your trip here wasssss not too bumpy.
"It wasss fine. Except the uh, raft incident. Think I got a concussion from that..."
"Anywaysss, i believe there'sss sssomething I need to do."
*Stylts begins sniffing the air, eventually making his way towards a wall*
SSSSSS- A concussion?! That’ssss- Not good-
Styx watches a little confused as Stylts sniffs the air and walks to the wall, but doesn’t question it.
*The wall is familiar. He can smell the stench of an internet scammer*

*the voice say, the last part repeated with Styx's voice*
Thisss bug would help, but thisss bug hasss found itssself... damaged
*Skynx crawl out from a crack between two rocks, it's is very flat, like a deflated ballon or a forgotten banana peel*

"I wasss going to blow you up, but uh... i don't think you can do much in your current ssstate."
*Stylts looks a bit confused at how skynx ended up so... flat*

*Skynx growl*
Gone... like three quarter of our ssstomach. And like your face if you don't ssstop mocking usss.
*the creature tries to do leap, but can barelly lift its front leg*

"Sss-Styx, thisss isss the one who threatened you from within your walsss. Though I doubt he will continue."
*Stylts stashes the pimpillo he was going to use, there's no way for skynx to be any form of threat now.*
Styx just awkwardly stands where he is unsure of what just happened.
Sssss- Well- That’ssss one myssstery of a myriad down- Uh-
Anywayssss, Ssstylts, as you can ssssee, Tein and I have been focused on repairing the nesss-ssst-
It had- Actually collapssssed a few minutessss ago sssso we have been rather busy with fixing it-
Styx laughs nervously.
Yesss, I had heard of that. I alssso brought sssome sssupliesss to aid! Or, I tried.
*there's one wooden beam in the cart. Although, it's more of an uprooted tree than a beam*
Which remindsss me, are there any... vacant cavesss nearby?
Not to worry! Every bit of help countssss.
As for cavessss… There should be ssssome nearby. Only thing I would sssuggest firsssst would be checking if there are any uncaged roachessss in any of them, as roach issues are not uncommon over here, though that does go without sss-sssaying-
Thank you for your help. It meansss a lot to me. If it'ssss alright, I'll try to help put your cave back together, and the look for one of my own nearby. That ssspike covered alcove near the entrance looked pretty nice...

”um…” *Tein “stares” down at an amalgamation of wood that they created.* “One does not think they are doing it correctly.”
Styx winces when he sees how badly cluttered the materials ended up.
OH- Oh dear-
Uh-
”…….Please help one-“ *They hold out the amalgamation towards him*
Ssssss. Of courssssse-
Styx takes the amalgamation and carefully disassembles the parts of the frame that got tangled. He then lays out the materials again so that they’re all where they would be when assembled.
There were a few partsssss of the frame that were correctly assembled, sssso I didn’t dissssmantle thosss-ssse, but I disassembled the cluttered partssss of the frame and rearranged them. All that’ssss needed now is to hammer the nailsssss in, and it should be ssssmooth ssssailing from there!
"One thanks you, friend Styx. One thinks that due to their blindness, they had gotten a little lost..." *They picked up what Styx had left together, grabbing another bit of wood and hammering it together.*
It issss no problem!
Styx then picks up the part of the frame he had been working on and gets a good look at it.
Well, the good newssss is I think the frame issss almoss-sst complete. After thissss, we can all fix the actual web of the nesssst itsssself!
Much progressss-ssss being made!
"One is glad that one was able to help, friend Styx." *They said with a smile.* "May one ask how we would repair the webbing, though? One did not grab any random fabric lying around while they were coming."
That’sssss alright! I managed to find a little bit during my trip. Though I am unsure of whether it will be enough or not. I sss-ssssuppose we shall know ssssoon enough-
"Lets hope it shall be enough..." *They replied, continuing to hammer the pieces of wood together. They finished after awhile, it was a bit... rough.. But it worked.*
Alright! Perfect!
Styx picks up each newly repaired piece of the frame and finishes assembling them so that the nest is now more of a circle again.
Excellent! Now all that is-sssss left to do is replace the web for the nesss-ssst. Let ussss all pick up ssssome fabric and begin fixing the web. And then once we are done, I think we can all resss-sssst at lass-ssst.
Styx’s exhaustion becomes apparent again when he talks. He really cannot wait until the nest is fixed. Between the very long journey gathering materials and the nest falling down last minute, the day was really taking its toll on him.
*Tein stood up.* “We can likely use the scraps of what is left of the nest’s web. If there is not enough, one can find some within Greymoor, or deeper into Sinner’s Road.”
That is-sssss a good idea!
We’ll ssssee how much we are able to fix with what we already have firsss-ssst, and if it is not enough, then I shall let you know.
With that, Styx picks up a share of the web materials and looks at the nest frame lying on the ground.
Are any of ussss sssstrong enough to carry the frame for a while? At leasss-ssst until we’re done resss-ssstringing it? It may be eassssier to complete if ssssomeone holdssss the frame up.
“One should be able to. One is unsure of how long one will be able to hold it, but one is willing to try.”
Ssssounds good! Should you get tired, Tein, you can let ussss know and take a break.
*They nodded then crouched down, picking the frame up and standing up again.* “One is ready.”

As Styx begins securing the first string to the frame, he turns to look at Stylts.

*They were concerned hearing how exhausted he was.* “It is alright, friend Styx. One is always glad to aid in any way that they can.” *They said, doing a small bow.* “One is unsure of how much you need, but perchance this is enough?” *They asked, holding out the materials that oddly looks like pieces of a boat or raft.*
Styx looks closely at the materials, pondering how much will be needed to fix the nest. He smiles.
Yesssss. That should be more than enough to repair the nesss-ssst. Thank you, Tein.
Styx bows back.
*They smile as well.* "Of course, friend Styx. Whenever you are ready, one shall follow you to your nest." *They paused.* "Please point out if one is about to run into a wall...."

*They stop before they could hit the wall, one of their lower arms reaching out to touch it. They followed the wall around a corner, still following Styx.* "One thanks you, friend Styx."

Eventually, the two make it to the final stretch of the path. As they both approach the entrance to Styx’s nest, though, a clamorous “CRASH” from his home can be heard.

*Tein flinched as well, dropping the supplies in the process.* "That... cannot be good..."
One sssssecond-
Styx rushes into the cave to investigate the commotion, heart pounding. That had better not have been what he thought it was. As soon as he finds the source of the noise, he drops his share of materials onto the ground in disbelief.
Oh, you cannot be ssssserious-
He then hurries back to Tein and awkwardly fidgets his claws.
Ssssso, uh-
He laughs in a mix of both stress and frustration.
The nessss-ssst may have… collapssssed- onto the ground?
*They had crouched down to pick up the materials that they had dropped.* "Oh dear.... One had thought that might have happened...." *They finished picking up the wood, standing up straight.* "We better get to work now then."
Styx, still shaken by how sudden that was, could only agree through a stressed, “uh-huh” and hurry back into the cave.
*They followed, setting the wood on the ground when they got to the now broken nest.*
"One is unsure of how to reconstruct your nest as it is different than the silken nests that Weavers have, or just a simple rock-nest that Nosks have.."
Ssssss. Indeed, it is ssssignificantly different. The wooden frame mossstly needsss nails and anything elsssse sharp to keep the piecessss in place. Luckily, I did prepare for thissss, ahead of time, sssso we do not need to worry about the nails.
Ssssso I would ssssay the firsssst sssstep would be to fix the frame.
"Very well. One shall attempt to begin." *They sat down, grabbing two pieces of wood and holding them together.*
Styx follows suit, picking up some wood and putting them together to rebuild the broken parts of the frame.

"Not too much. Though one had met a friend. He said that he knew you, and he was coming to visit you as well. We travelled together for a bit before we parted ways, though one thinks that he shall catch up soon." *They reached for another bit of wood then paused.* "That reminds one- One's vision is still normal! Perchance once we finish fixing your nest one could properly see your face? One would need to go to a dark cave to do such.."
Styx pauses hammering a nail and perks up when he hears Tein say they saw someone who knew him and was coming to visit.

Ssssss. Of courssssse-
Styx takes the amalgamation and carefully disassembles the parts of the frame that got tangled. He then lays out the materials again so that they’re all where they would be when assembled.
There were a few partsssss of the frame that were correctly assembled, sssso I didn’t dissssmantle thosss-ssse, but I disassembled the cluttered partssss of the frame and rearranged them. All that’ssss needed now is to hammer the nailsssss in, and it should be ssssmooth ssssailing from there!
