i should've locked in when i was thirteen

i know its been a few weeks since we last updated about my girlfriends cat; we're both disabled, self employed and low income, and shes already trying desperately to scrape enough to move from somewhere too expensive and inaccessible for her as a wheelchair user. to reiterate this cat had been left in her mothers care, who has ignored extreme symptoms such as blood in urine and actively hid this until she came to visit. we were able to get her in again today, they said shes got a growth/misshape in her kidney area which needs an exam. whether its cancerous or not is a factor- if it comes to it shes looking into rehoming, euthanasia, and some emergency grants. but at the moment, even accessing aid like that depends on knowing the problem, which means she needs to pay for these exams first, a total atm of $435
