like I think Sam is aware he also has a thing about control over himself, but that's then doubled down on how horrifying it is to him that he's let his so called base urges ruin him in x y z way. like no baby you're a victim.

if spn late seasons wanted to cook they should have had jack call sam father at first bc he recognized sam as lucifer's true vessel. and before he learned the gravity of what that meant he shouldve wished that sam had agreed to be his father's vessel because then he would've had his dad right from the start.

I think being in Hell warped Sam’s perception of what an okay living situation is and now he’s just like… “Well at least I’m not on meat hooks” and shrugs and doesn’t think twice about how he’s treated or what happens to him.
