Cress can feel his skin, but it never feels like it is his own. It’s someone’s else’s skin that they methodically had stapled onto him, or so he screamed.
Everything overwhelmed him, he started feeling flies and ants crawling underneath the borrowed skin, he had to get them out, one way or another.
As days passed they started taking measures to stop Cress from hurting himself any further, a strait jacket was implemented which seemingly had fixed the problem but it was only temporary and he had found how to deal with it quite easy.
Another idea they had was to finally get him out of that cell. It had taken way too much effort to look over him at all times and personnel was getting scared to go deal with him with the chance of Cress ignoring his skin and going for another’s. It wasn’t the best of ideas, Cress was already overwhelmed in a dimly lit room with almost no sounds except for the guards on the other side of his door, so introducing him to a new and scary environment was surely a choice.
