Comment : Okayyy, so twice fed us with an amazing album, I did everything to avoid the tour’s spoiler, so i discovered the songs in october. And omggg I wasn’t disappointed, honestly don’t have anything to say, the songs were sooo good, every solo suited the member singing it, they all made it to my playlist, like almost all Twice songs. It’s truly amazing how the 9 members stayed alive together as a group, keeping releasing good music for 10 years , with such a huge fanbase that grew through the years, no other group can compare tbh. And the album was perfect to celebrate it, let’s continue to support twice and to enjoy their incredible music, THE STORY GOES ON !!!!

Fav song : Fix a drink, Chess

Track 1: ME + YOU Song: 8/10 Comment: This song makes me sooo emotional as a Once, even though I’ve only known them since the Feels era. I love them so much, and seeing them celebrate their ten years together warms my heart (so lyrics and meaning are obviously a 10/10). Now, about the song: it feels so Twice, they have such a unique sound, and you really feel it here. The song is soft and cute, just like them. I don’t have much to say because it’s just sooo good, it grows on me every time I listen to it. I know this is something you hear a lot, but they’re vocal queens! I can really feel the amazing synergy between their voices. So the rating could’ve been higher, but I gave it 8/10 because, out of their huge discography, it doesn’t really stand out & the chorus felt a bit off compared to the rest of the song. Still, a really good song, as I said earlier.

Track 2: MEEEEEE (NAYEON) Song: 9/10 Comment: First “I’m Nayeon”, then “NA”, now “MEEEEEE” it’s so funny, Nayeon is just a chill girl celebrating herself haha. I would do the same if I were THE Im Nayeon. Anyway, the song is an absolute banger!!! It’s sooo catchy, the type of song Nayeon usually makes. She already got us all with POP back in 2022, and now it’s the same kind of song that gets you addicted. You listen to it 24/7 until you get tired of it, then you remember this banger exists, and you’re back listening to it 24/7. No, but for real, how can someone have such a beautiful voice? The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is that it didn’t hit me in the heart like some other songs in her discography (Love Countdown, Count It…). Track 3: FIX A DRINK (JEONGYEON) Song: 10 /10

Comment: Jeongyeon, my love! Finally, we got a solo from her, I’m sooo happy!! Her voice is one of the most unique and beautiful in the group, so hearing a whole song from her is just sooo satisfying. The song is sooo good, It’s my type of song: perfect, chill, but kind of powerful (just like her). The instrumental is peak, and the melody feels like I’m a girl with braids running through a field. I’m definitely going to listen to this song while cleaning my room. Jeongyeon didn’t disappoint at all!!

Track 4: MOVE LIKE THAT (MOMO)

Song: 7 8,5 /10

Comment: Maybe this is my least favorite song of the album. I usually love Momo’s singing style, and I loved Money on My Pocket (my favorite solo on the Haute Couture album). This song is good, but maybe not for me. I know the production is great, and I don’t hate it, but it sounds a bit generic. The pre-chorus is fire, though! I think it could grow on me if I keep listening to it, but honestly, it’s not that memorable. NVM I LISTENED TO IT AGAIN IT’S A BANGER, IDK HOW I WROTE SMTH LIKE THAT ? (THIS SONG IS LITTERALY LOVE FOOLISH LIL SISTER) JUST FORGET IT.

Track 5: DECAFFEINATED (SANA) Song: 8.5/10 Comment: Such a good song from Sana! I think it’s an answer to Espresso (Espresso → Decaffeinated, you get the joke, right? Haha), and what an answer!! Excuse me, miss?? The song itself isn’t that special (it’s still good) , but Sana’s voice makes it tooo hypnotizing. She can pull off any concept!! It’s like a mix between Push & Pull and Funny Valentine.

Track 6 : ATM (JIHYO)

Song : 9 /10

Comment : Okayyyy queen Jihyo didn’t disppoint at all !! this song is soooo her, her voice is insane omggg, tbh i was a bit disappointed with her debut album (except talkin’ about) but i’ve been listening to it because of her voice, and then it grew on me. Although it’s the same type of sound as zone , this song is wayy better, it’s kind of passive-agressive, soo sensual and powerful, twice always kills it with this type of songs, but jihyo alone does it even better. Sooo what i also really love about ATM is the emotion we can feel changing in her voice through the song, and those ad-libs omgggg (Only jihyo can do this) !!!!

Track 7 : STONE COLD (MINA)

Song: 7,5 /10

Comment : This song is soooo elegant but the dark type of elegance, you see what i mean ? It kind of reminds me of gods by newjeans. It really suits mina’s voice range, but she’s known for her iconic pure elegance, so it was a bit surprising tho (but tbh after the 7rings cover nothing really surprises me from her haha) . And i’m happy that we can hear this type of song from Mina again (it gives me masterpiece flashback). BUT the score could’ve been higher, i really love everything about this song except this part of the chorus (ik you know what part it’s about if you’ve listened to the song) , idk it kind of seems like the odd man out and also as i said, the song isn’t that creative, like, we’ve already seen this type of melody a bit too much before.

Track 8 : CHESS (DAHYUN)

Song : 10 /10

Can’t believe this song is one of the least streamed in the album, I tought onces had taste !!! (just kidding haha). Okay soo i really didn’t expect this from Dahyun, and yet it’s soooo good, soooo perfect, maybe it’s because i really love this sample and playing chess too haha. Sooo idk this songs kind of has the vibe of cry for me. The vocals and the rap are peaakkkkkk. I don’t even know what to say, it’s so perfect, defo my favorite song of the album, she ate that sample fr, and her voice is sooo satisfying here. They took it and made it 1000000000 times better !!!

Track 9 : IN MY ROOM (CHAEYOUNG)

Song : 7 /10

Comment : Chaeyoung is my ultimate bias of all time, i love her sooo much, so it’ll be hard to be objective, but i have to be honest, the song is far from terrible but idk the chorus is a bit disappointing, it feels like those speed up songs and it’s not really my taste, and idk at some moments I don’t really recognize her voice. However the other parts are great, what i have to say about the whole song is that it’s her universe, and i’m so happy she can come with her own unique music (i really enjoyed her solo album). And maybe it could grow on me actually but i know i’ll never love it as much as the other songs, that’s a shame bc i really love the other parts but the chorus is the most important part in a song. Usually i’m absolutely in love with chaeyoung edgy style, but yes the chorus is not bad at all, but I just don’t get it.

Track 10 : DIVE IN (TZUYU)

Song : 9,5 /10

Comment : Such a perfect well balanced song from Tzuyu, her siren voice is soooo mesmerizing, i have nothing else to say, tbh i loved every solo song from tzuyu (her solo album is my favorite, i had it on repeat since it came out) and this one didn’t make the exception, it’s so her, so elegant. The melody blew my mind (what a shame, this song is the least streamed in the album). I’m soo happy she got another occasion to showcase her vocal (can’t believe jyp called her a weak vocalist during sixteen)

ARTIST : CLOSE YOUR EYES

Album : 8,4 /10

Comment : i don’t think it’s their best album (i don’t think they’ll ever top eternalt) , but still a really good one, Uncore is really strong when it comes to prod, it’s not that unique but still very good, maybe the concept isn’t my type of concept, but when it comes to the songs, i think we have something very consistent, every song could’ve been the title track actually, but i think they did a good choice with X, it was unexpectedly perfect.

Comment : Soooo dare i say this is their best title track ? The production is crazy, such a perfect song actually, i understand why people suddenly gave them more interest, kpop lacked thins kind of fully consistent songs with such a perfect production, also they gave kenshin and sungmin some more line although the two of them still need some vocal training, i didn’t notice it in the song, everything was perfectly balanced, every member shone at what he’s the best at. I could feel that vibe of unstoppable youth and limitless power, they really can pull of any concept. I think it’s a song everyone could love, so i don’t think it was risky but they know what a good song is.

Song : 7,5 /10

Comment : It’s a catchy noise song,the production is fire as well, the chorus is repititive but it’s still good, the break dance is on top, but i think making them sing a song fully in english wasn’t a good idea bc the pronunciation doesn’t sound natural at all, seungho and minwook really did well tho, but kenshin’s part was terrible, i hate when thay add that kind of slow useless rap just for a member to have his part, also i don’t think the members seemed really comfortable with the song, it felt like it was a cover or smth...nothing new with this song actually (we’ve already seen this style before) but overall it’s still good.

Fav part : Prechorus is really good tbh

Comment : This song is good, that’s what i call a good bside, not a big fan of the chorus bc it’s a bit repetitive, but still a good song, the rap parts are catchyyyy but don’t have a lot to say about the song overall.

Comment : This song is sooooo fireeee, my favorite bside of the album, the vibe is on toppppp, i really like this kind of song (not sure what genre it is tho), but we can see it fits the album vibe but still sound different and unique, i feel happy whenever i listen to it.

Track 5 – Who’s Dat ? (Jane Doe)

Song : 8 /10

Comment : This song feels like you’re walking on a tunnel at night alone thinking of someone you love, i really like the vocals here, the song is really good,i like this kind of rnb instrumental , maybe i would’ve preferred it to be completely a melancholic vibe, cuz i think the part when they say « Who’s dat 이름없는 Shadow Who’s dat, who’s dat 유려한 그 태도 » feels a bit random. But it doesn’t make the song bad, i was surprised to see them release this kind of songs, it’s a bit unexpected for a rookie group.

Comment : Such a good album, i think it’s a masterpiece, almost all the songs are really good, and 4 of them made it to the playlist sooo yes i really loved the unique overall sound, it’s really worth listening, i wasn’t into ten or nct before, now i think i’ll give a try to both discographies. I can feel that he worked really hard on this album.

Comment : An absolute masterpiece, this song made me listen to the entire album, and now i want to listen to the whole discography, it’s such a unique and perfect song, the kind of music that you listen to 24/7 bc it’s too good.

Song : 9 /10

Comment : Really good song , it’s so catchy and suits his voice perfectly, i love the vibe and the energy, kind of the same as stunner, it’s a bit repetitive but it doesn’t bother much, that’s how you make music actually, i really love this kind of songs.

Track 3 – BAMBOLA

Song : 7 /10

Comment : It’s an interesting sound, the nct style actually (even though i’m in the team anti sticker) , vocals are fire, rap is good too, but the melodies change are a bit too violent, the chorus might either get me addicted or make me hate the whole song, but i kind of love risky songs. Also i think it’s kind of weird but it’s consistent. I just have to figure out if i do like it (but i have no doubts it’s a good song)

Comment : Tbh it’s not the most memorable song of the album but it’s still really good, his vocals and rap are soooo fire, i don’t have much to say about it actually., the melody is really catchy and interesting.

Comment : This song is a bit different from the overall sound of the album, and also not the most unique but i can’t complain i’m absolutely in love with his voice here, i can’t resist this kind of dreamy, afrobeat summer song, it’s also really well made it made me just want to make a that summer edit right now.

Comment : I was really disppointed listening to it, such a basic filler balad with basic lyrics, not that bad tho but not memorable at all, i really do love ballads but only when they’re really well made, when we can feel the emotion and tbh you can feel it when a ballad is a filler, the only good thing that could make it grow on me is his insane vocals.
