Comment : i don’t think it’s their best album (i don’t think they’ll ever top eternalt) , but still a really good one, Uncore is really strong when it comes to prod, it’s not that unique but still very good, maybe the concept isn’t my type of concept, but when it comes to the songs, i think we have something very consistent, every song could’ve been the title track actually, but i think they did a good choice with X, it was unexpectedly perfect.

Comment : Soooo dare i say this is their best title track ? The production is crazy, such a perfect song actually, i understand why people suddenly gave them more interest, kpop lacked thins kind of fully consistent songs with such a perfect production, also they gave kenshin and sungmin some more line although the two of them still need some vocal training, i didn’t notice it in the song, everything was perfectly balanced, every member shone at what he’s the best at. I could feel that vibe of unstoppable youth and limitless power, they really can pull of any concept. I think it’s a song everyone could love, so i don’t think it was risky but they know what a good song is.

Track 2 – SOB

Song : 7,5 /10

Comment : It’s a catchy noise song,the production is fire as well, the chorus is repititive but it’s still good, the break dance is on top, but i think making them sing a song fully in english wasn’t a good idea bc the pronunciation doesn’t sound natural at all, seungho and minwook really did well tho, but kenshin’s part was terrible, i hate when thay add that kind of slow useless rap just for a member to have his part, also i don’t think the members seemed really comfortable with the song, it felt like it was a cover or smth...nothing new with this song actually (we’ve already seen this style before) but overall it’s still good.

Fav part : Prechorus is really good tbh

Track 3 – CHIC

Song : 7,5 /10

Comment : This song is good, that’s what i call a good bside, not a big fan of the chorus bc it’s a bit repetitive, but still a good song, the rap parts are catchyyyy but don’t have a lot to say about the song overall.

Fav part : The rap parts are really good

Track 4 – 2.0

Song : 9 / 10

Comment : This song is sooooo fireeee, my favorite bside of the album, the vibe is on toppppp, i really like this kind of song (not sure what genre it is tho), but we can see it fits the album vibe but still sound different and unique, i feel happy whenever i listen to it.

Fav part : Bridge (the prod ATEE)

Track 5 – Who’s Dat ? (Jane Doe)

Song : 8 /10

Comment : This song feels like you’re walking on a tunnel at night alone thinking of someone you love, i really like the vocals here, the song is really good,i like this kind of rnb instrumental , maybe i would’ve preferred it to be completely a melancholic vibe, cuz i think the part when they say « Who’s dat 이름없는 Shadow Who’s dat, who’s dat 유려한 그 태도 » feels a bit random. But it doesn’t make the song bad, i was surprised to see them release this kind of songs, it’s a bit unexpected for a rookie group.

Fav part : idk there’s no part that really stood out for me
