It’s the most incredulous thing Derek can think of, that Stiles Stilinski could ever be dark. This kid he’s fought with, been on opposing sides against so many times. The kid that threatened to leave him for dead, that let him sink in the pool.

This kid that’s saved his life so many times he’s lost count. This kid that was willing to cut off his arm to save him when they were still enemies. This kid that protected him, helped him, stayed with him. This kid that came back, in the pool, against the kanima, at the hospital. This kid that gave him comfort when he most needed it, that sacrificed his own life to save his father’s.
