Gore Grounds

Its a close to perfect diary of their first year together. Even the bits Michél doesnt like to remember. There's some older bits too, but he sticks to their time travelling. There's so many pictures of nature, of birds, the sky, even of Michél but so few of Souad. He remembers stealing their camera one evening, and quickly tries to find the file.

"Don't look at me like that, it's only fair i get to film you too," it's his own voice, distorted just a little. The camera pans from Souad's face, clearly uncomfortable, to their hands, nails digging into their shirt, to him pinning them down by the hips.

Despite clearly wanting out of this situation, Souad replied: "You look good. On camera."

Michél couldn't really remember what he had been thinking, but he was surprised how much of his bullshit Souad had simply accepted back then. Now theyre gone, and all he could do is watch his past self push up their shirt, and ask, grin audible: "And you don't?"

They just shook their head, lips pressed together tightly. Already preparing to resist giving him what he always had wanted - some small sound of weakness.
