As of the time of writing, Undertale: Red is now a little over a month old. As I’ve mentioned before, I made Red because I liked the gameplay idea, as opposed to wanting to make more “legit” fanfiction (I actually hate writing the stuff!!). With the intent of making something fun above all else, there is quite a lot of cut content that was removed due to complications, conflicts, or simply for not being fun. While I won’t get into all of it, I know people love reading about WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN when it comes to game development, so I figured I’d share some of those things left behind on the cutting room floor. Hell, use some of it for your own fan fight if you want, I don’t care!!!!!!!!

122 hours and 65 characters later...I FINALLY FINISHED MY ANNIVERSARY DRAWING WOOOO

I missed making something for the 5th anniversary, so for the 10th I wanted to go BIG. I spent over a month working on this thing and I'm super happy with how it came out ToT

Alright, now time for a gushy lil speech. *eh hem*

This piece was inspired by not only Undertale, but all the creativity that the game inspired. Undertale is more than just a game at this point. It's a phenomenon. Something that many people, much like myself, can say has had a MASSIVE impact on their lives.

I wouldn't be the artist, or daresay the person I'd be today if not for this little game. Undertale is what sparked my passion for drawing AND writing (but mostly drawing lol). The community and the amazing creators within the community are what drove me to keep pushing forward, and I wouldn't be where I am today if not for them.

So! I wanted to make a drawing to commemorate this. 65 characters drawn. 39 AUs based off comics, games, stories, and art. I wanted to give thanks to all the fantastic creators out there who make incredible things, and especially thanks to Undertale for inspiring all of us.

I've been flooded with messages telling me this fanart I did after playing the 2013 demo is apparently the first Undertale fanart ever? Dunno how that was determined but if it's true, that's cool. So I decided to redraw it for the 10th anniversary!
