So, we meet again kat, but this time on my alt account, *insert dramatic music* (cutely throws more questions/other random ss stuff at u) this is less than last time, but still a lot so obviously you don’t need to answer all of them again
1: so this first one isn’t a question but I noticed that when sans grew up, his chin became more ✨manly✨ and I just thought that was a cool detail
2: how old was papyrus when he found out about the royal guard?
3: what experiment was Gaster talking about when he said they only needed six human souls to break the barrier?
4: will we eventually get to see the other souls in human form meeting, frisk or something?
5: when frisk accidentally revealed that they were a human by “ rambling again” how often do they ramble
6: who wrote the letter that Gaster died that undyne gave to sans?
7: if sans never decided to end their friendship with frisk, would the other monsters, eventually find her?
8: how long did it take for both sans and papyrus to become a royal guard commander
9: if the reason gaster dissapeared bc of the experiment he talked to sans about how they only need 6 souls to break the barrier, does that mean alphys still remembers him since she worked alongside him?
10: since sans doesn’t have 1 hp anymore, does that mean monster can die the way humans do? (I have no idea how to explain it.)
11: since sans mentioned that if he knew pap was gonna be here, he said he would’ve done smth different with the face paint, and I was wondering what the different thing was
12: what are the ranks for the royal guards?
13: does undyne like sans or pap more?
14: will get we see pap and undyne’s pov of what happened in waterfall? (Pls say yes🥹 I’ve been DYING to know what happened on there side of the story)
15: did pap purposely hit sans during their 1st fight?
16: was pap actually turning to kill sans?
17: who is the strongest character
18: also in one of the qna’s, u said that San would be fine for now, does that mean we’ll get more sans angst in the future
19: why didn’t gaster report frisk to asgore? Was it bc frisk was 8 or was it smth else?
20: were gaster and toriel old friends?
21: why can’t pap teleport
22: how would diz react if she found out that sans was working with frisk
23: is chapter 14, repise, it said that pap was still somewhere in the waterfall, looking for him most likely with undyne so does that mean undyne will end up finding out about yk, or will pap make up a lie to get out of trouble
24: Very off topic, but I had a dream where when Sans and frisk got to alphys place, they stayed there for the night and sans had a dream where he met gaster in the void (this is a warning for how obsessed I am with this au but then again saying this for the second(?) time, take your time with it) but anyways, I just thought it was funny lol
25: “and ideally, you’ll never have to see me use the seriously either” ✨foreshadowing✨
26: how long would it take to reach the barrier with and without rest?
27: wait since blooky was the one who gave frisk to sans, I have a feeling that undyne or pap well ask him about his patrol or something and if he found frisky yet and he’s going to say something like “oh yeah, but sans came in and he said he would take over to give the human to the king“ or smth
28: in the chapter, the journey continues sans said that Gaster had human friends, so I was wondering, was one of those humans friends a Oc?
29: wait a sec, in the last page so far, sans randomly got a umbrella, did he use magic for that or something?🤨
ok that’s all (for now 😏) *passes out on bed*
1. That's a mixture of him growing older and my art style drastically changing. It kinda worked out. My original concept art of Sans as an adult looked super similar to his child design ibr LOL (he looked a LOT more Sans-like) so I'm glad I went for more of an anime/ATLA art style 😌
2. Pap has known about the Royal Guard since forever. He started training for it the moment he was able to hold a sword, and Undyne was kind of like an Aunt to both him and Sans. She was around a lot, mainly to train Papyrus.
3. Spoilers :) you'll find out
5. A lot. Frisk is actually very talkative. She's just not used to meeting new people, but once she goes going it's hard to stop 😂 she's an extrovert at heart.
6. Asgore. It had a royal seal, meaning it was directly from the king himself.
7. Well that was his #1 fear and actually what ended up happening in Seventh Soul: Dust and True Dust. The royal guard kept getting bigger and bigger and being a Commander demanded a lot from him, so he was getting scared that people would start getting suspicious and/or follow him (which is what happened in the Dust variants)
8. Papyrus was the youngest ever to get recruited and take his oaths at age 15. Sans was barely 18 when he was drafted. They both became Commanders at the same time a couple years later (maybe around ages 19 and 20?)
10. Monsters in Seventh Soul are actually a lot more similar to humans. The key difference between humans and monsters is magic potency. Monsters are highly magical beings, while humans don't have any magic at all. Because of this, monsters have much weaker souls, but humans have much stronger souls. In SS there are no "boss monsters" but rather "powerful monsters". A monster soul CAN persist after death for a VERY short time, but it's heavily dependant on how strong and healthy the monster was. Asgore is the strongest monster, so his soul would probably persist for at least a few minutes. Undyne is very strong, too, so her soul would likely persist for a least a full minute or two. Sans and Papyrus are also super strong and would persist for up to a minute. Other monsters who are either weak, old and/or frail would likely shatter immediately like in base Undertale. It's highly dependent on the individual. This is also why the Royal Guard strives to strengthen Monsters up as much as it can. The stronger the monster, the stronger their soul, the stronger their magic.
Monsters also aren't "just made of magic" either. While they are very magical, they're still biologically similar to humans. They can bleed, eat normal food, etc etc. Monsters still turn to dust when they die, though. Humans do not.
11. I dunno maybe a lizard or something 😂 skeleton just seemed the easiest and the least suspicious.
12. Just Captain (Undyne), Commander (Sans and Pap), and then the normal ranks (Soldiers), and then new recruits (Newbies? 😂) the only ones that really matter are Captain and Commander.
13. Probably Papyrus more LOL
15. Yes he did. He saw an opportunity to knock him out while he was distracted and took it.
16. No he was not (it's why he made his sword blunt). He was trying to incapacitate him in order to save him from the punishment of treason. He thought Frisk was manipulating him.
18. The "fine for now" was a joke because of the injury on his head 😂 I made that Q&A before he passed out for 2 days lmaooo so I was hinting at how he wasn't going to be fine very soon lmao.
But yes there will be a lot more angst.
19. Because he didn't really like killing the fallen humans either and was working on a solution to the barrier at the time, so he felt there was no need to strip Toriel of yet another child.
20. Yes Gaster and Toriel were good friends along with Asgore, Gerson, and a couple others that I won't say cause spoilers.
21. He just didn't inherit that power.
22. She'd probably think the same thing Pap thought - that Frisk was an evil manipulative human
23. Guess you'll have to find out 😎
24. Loool imagine having dreams about an Undertale AU couldn't be me [sweats nervously]
26. The SS Underground is much much bigger than base Undertale. It's also far more populated. It's why it took Sans and Frisk a full day to walk to Snowdin. The journey to the barrier on foot is incredibly long, I'd say with rest it would take a few days to make the trip, without...maybe like a day or two? Sans and Frisk are also taking an incredibly longer way to avoid running into people. There's also a ferry that can quickly carry people around (Riverperson) but Sans and Frisk can't take that without revealing Frisk to another monsters, so they're taking the looooong way.
27. That's why Sans told Blooky to take the rest of the week off. He knows Blooky will just be a hermit and lock themselves in their room to work on music lmao. And by the time anyone checks on them, it'll be too late.
29. It's a reference to the umbrella you pick up in the base game lmao. There were just some available so he took one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hope that answers your questions well enough lmaooo
