TL; DR: Ryan Coogler’s The X Files reboot will have a different mythology
CSM “helped father a child who he calls his own” referring to William —> therefore he’s not the real father, but we knew that already…
William and potentially the unborn child 😭 have a role in the mythology and he explicitly said the Salvator Mundi tagline (saviour of the world) on My Struggle IV is the clue he’s been talking about.

There’s more stuff about the Directors Cut IWTB being scarier and a “Frankenstein story” (make of that what you will); CC feeling unappreciated for the My Struggle episodes and for IWTB and general incomprehensible stuff about Scully’s struggle about being a scientist and now a practitioner of science but NAH.
Bonus:
CC believes txf is not yet done (that it'll come back in some future form), and has plans. He and Ryan Coogler have made sure Coogler's show doesn't conflict with those ideas. (Also, he praises Ryan.)
Spotnitz told CC the fans weren't given what they wanted in the Revival... which prompted CC to think that, maybe, he gave fans "too much." (And therefore must continually nudge them in the right direction by dropping hints all the time.)
He loves the Frankenstein story (previous quotes here) and was inspired by it for IWTB (and, as the interviewer points out, Post Modern Prometheus, which CC gave due credit to "Anne" Simon.)

IF you brought the X Files back, in some ideal world where this can happen before our stars get too old for that shit, we'd want:
More MSR. At least one, well lit and angled kiss.
Less fussing around with overcomplicated mytharc.
Confirm the paternity matters as laid out in Perihelion.
Give William/Jackson the life and family he deserves. Give Mulder and Scully the same.
Skinner needs a full recovery.
Bring back Bill Scully and get him properly schooled and apologetic re his treatment of Mulder.
Fix Scully's hair.
Let Mulder publish a book about the X Files and his life.
