Hello! The main thing with the dr style is that it only has like 4 kinds of faces / face shape so when you memorize how to draw one, you can draw a big percent of the characters~ I’ve been drawing the faces from the sprites for years now so I have an idea of where everything should be (tho I still make mistakes of course)– In fact, when I started drawing in 2010/2011 I started by redrawing the dr1 sprites/official art over and over- so I’d recommend to practise that- the face- first— the body doesn’t have anything that you have to learn style wise- the face is the only important thing to make it look like dr if you ask me~
