Good Morning Ever After High!

Happy Hunter Week! I haven't been posting lately since I go to school but I queued this post to tell you why I love Hunter,hate Huntlynn with a passion and tell you about all my ships and why I ship them. Let's start with why I love my baby. I see so much of my self in him. We are both doting but not pushovers. We also have made questionable choices in friends from a flat standpoint. I have head cannoned him as latina since I first laid eyes on him. Other than that I just do. He doesn't have the development that he deserves to knock him off 3rd. He was second but Chase took that upon introduction. Secondly, why I hate Huntlynn. It's a carbon copy of Laloona and Gil and I already don't like that one, would I like this one. It's the same forbidden love thing something that bearly works for yaoi/Yuri much less with hetero relationships. Forbidden love is a fairly overused trope that when written well can avoid being a nuisance. And Mattel has proven time and time again, they can't write forbidden love not even as a background conflict. True Hearts Day is the most skippable EAH special right next to Spring Unsprung in my opinion. It was boring and did nothing but cement a stupid love triangle that no body wanted as far as I know and is just filled with all of Mattel's questionable chooses. Don't get me started on the continuity after where Ashlynn's status on the royal rebel thing is concerned. I'm glad they got rid of that plot. And last but not least all my Hunter ships. Hunter x Sparrow Interesting story on this one. I started shipping this after Chosen with care and most importantly Hunter's diary. I have always thought that the way they implied that Sparrow is always trying to get Hunter's attention interesting, since he doesn't do the same to Ashlynn, the one he actually has a crush on. Till I realized, if I was someone like Sparrow, I wouldn't outright say I was in love with another dude after establishing myself as a wannabe Casanova but say I liked the girl closest to said guys personality. That happened to be Ashlynn. Hunter and Ash are almost carbon copy's of each other, plus now that everyone knows they're dating, if I hang around Hunter it really won't seem weird because everyone thinks I like Ash. I love this ship because it make so much logical sence within canon. Hunter x Dexter This ones simpleish, basically I ship it because personality wise they fit so much. And I'm a sucker for roommates falling in love with each other. Hunter x Alister Explorer baby's is all I have to say Hunter x Daring I just do, don't judge me. I already judge myself for shipping it for the sake of more gay. That's all folks~ mod Niko

This is a carry over from last week's sketch. I decided to do a colored lineart for Apple's design. Yellow is so annoying to work with X'D but the glow is so pretty (love/hate relationship here)

I did some Cupid sketching, obviously the armor theme from last week has carried over into an all out EAH war theme, and honestly, I've inspired myself. Soooo. Stay tuned for next week because their miiiight just be a EAH war au comic.... On this outfit design tho, I decided to give her more of her moster high feel but with long hair. I thought it would be a cool concept to think that she can only be defeated if you break the heart, literally not emotionally. Her heart being a conjurable crystal that can view any pressence of a relationship as it currently happens, not being limited to only love relationships. This makes her more of an intel advantage than a fighting advantage Within a eah war au I'd put her on the rebel side with her alliance holding with ashlynn, but would turn to the loyals side as her hatred for the side leader raven grows.

Armor time! Apple and Raven in armor. I thought Apple needed a skirted kinda style and Raven would want something that illusions shorts? I love how the shoulder armor ended up looking like they were like the classic snow white puffs sleeves. That was a happy accident ;P

This takes place in an au where free travel between the worlds is normal and the students of Mh and Eah are great friends already. This is really casual roleplay and is to promote the normalization of roleplays in the fandom. I have been in the fandom for less than a year and I find it really boring.
