ALRIGHT. so i decided that i was going to use the stickers from my true hearts day sticker book to decorate my laptop since i feel more confidant in my decoration skills. but before that i wanted to capture the mint feeling of this book since it was like mint mint when i got it. no stickers out or nothing so i decided to scan each page into my printers scanner as a kind of archival thing since i rarely ever see official ever after high merch and this is like very high quality. i also am doing it incase someone ever wanted to reprint the stickers and needed the reference. anyways enough of the yapping.

It’s been a cray and long journey, but someone has finally managed to piece together 99% of the texts used for the Ever After High promotion material… and there a couple of surprises!

Sorry to be (once again) the person who breaks the hype (and the hopes) of the fandom.
As you may noticed in the last past days, thanks to some posts on TikTok and then on Twitter, fans realized that : "OMG, there's an presentation page for Ever After High on the Mattel website ! So... this must be a PROOF that EAH is coming back ! YAY !!" And I'm like : No.
People are acting like this page on Corporate Mattel website was a recent sign that Ever After High is coming back. But I clearly remember having seen this page a couple of years ago. So no, this is NOT a recent addition. This part of the website is just a portfolio intented to showcase ALL of Mattel's brands (even the ones that no longer exist like Cave Club, Pixiel Chix or My Scene !).
As I have already said (too many times), there are NO CHANCE that Ever After High will return. Now, Mattel is working again with Disney to create dolls for Disney Princesses, Disney Descendants and the Disney live action movies. (And a reboot is not planned, since Monster High G3 is releasing its new spin-off "Moon Spell Magic" this year).
The ONLY possibility I see is if Mattel decides to release a special Ever After High doll on Mattel Creations (since an online release would not threaten in-store sales of Disney dolls).
And the Twitter posts supposedly showing the New Ever After High Reboot Designs" are just early sketches of characters for the animated series dating back to - at least - 2012.
Guys, I was scrolling through TikTok and a video popped up saying *Ever After High* is back on the Mattel website. People in the comments were absolutely losing their minds. Can someone please, for the love of God, confirm if it's true so I can be even happier? 😭
When I searched, I only found this Mattel site about Ever After High, so I'm lost.😔

Ever After High is not. I repeat, not, coming back
Theres a video floating around tiktok CLAIMING it is, along with posts on twitter. That video and those posts are incorrect by a LONG shot.
Mattel has not announced any rebooting or renewing of the licensing for the dolls, which would be the biggest give away that anything IS going to be done with the franchise.
The website the person claims is the “proof” that EAH is coming back is a portfolio site, which houses both past AND present works Mattel has done.
I love the show and the characters as much as the next person, however, we need to remember that the show AND the doll runs have been stagnant for years now, not to mention they’d be competing with Disney with Descendants if there was a reboot planned.
I’m sorry to be that guy, but this needs to be nipped in the bud before it spreads. And before anyone asks, I did do my research about this. When you look at the “evidence” on twitter and tiktok, the posts are almost 2 months old now. If this WAS something that would be happening, we would be seeing things from official accounts, not fan accounts.
Not to mention, I’m 90% sure the “reboot designs” are stolen artwork from peoples fan designs, if not concept art for scrapped characters.
If, however, I am wrong and eah DOES come back, I’ll delete this post and move on

Is it a controversial opinion that I don't want EAH to come back?
Don't get me wrong, it will be wonderful to see EAH again and have new content but I don't think Mattel will not serve us that kind of quality media and 2d animation in this day in age.
As someone who loves dolls, I sometimes wish that EAH isn't a doll line and be a book series or a normal cartoon series instead so it will be given a proper ending and not being abruptly cancelled because the dolls doesn't sell well. Also there's the descendants thing but I don't really care about that franchise.
Not a controversial opinion. I share the same opinion.
When people hope for a revival or a reboot, they are generally expecting exactly the same thing they experienced before. However, trends and production methods change over time, so we likely wouldn't get the same dolls. I DO want Ever After High to come back, but I know it would be something different from what we got in 2013-2017.
And for the webisodes... given how the collaboration between Mattel and Guru Studio ended, there is no chance for the return of that beautiful 2D Flash animation (Mattel uses 3D for its YouTube content now).
You’ve probably seen these pictures of C.A. Cupid or other EAH characters on Tumblr or Twitter that look like they come from an artbook. Let me give you all the informations!
These images come from @zontron21 on TikTok. Their father worked at Studio GURU on the Ever After High animated series. In 2016, the studio printed this "artbook" exclusively for its employees (so it’s not something you can't buy online... unless one day a employee put it on eBay for some reason !) compiling their work on the series. (There’s even a dedication from W. Scott Forbes, the Art Director, on the cover!)
This book features mostly character models (students, teachers, and many backgrounders) in various outfits from the show, backgrounds paintings and some early sketches of character designs. Each chapter is separated by one of the beautiful illustrations that W. Scott Forbes had previously published on his portfolio site (and that I've shared there).
There is no text other than the chapter titles (Season 1 Webisodes, Character Designs, Background Paintings, etc.). So NO, you don't find out the name of some characters (and certainly not the background characters).
And to answer some comments I saw on TikTok: NO, there is certainly nothing about the crossover movie, since this is a different studio who was working on it.

Wait. That means there was a script for a webisode centered on Blondie Lockes "Just Sweet" hosting her live stream about cupcakes... and Cupid was supposed to appear wearing that outfit ?!!
Obviously, it's an exclusive outfit designed by the animators, not the Mattel doll designers. (I don't know what the character designers at GURU were thinking, always wanting to style Cupid's hair into a heart shape ! ^.^") It's so cool to find out new stuff about Ever AFter High even after all these years.

In 2012, Why Do Ghouls Fall in Love? was C.A. Cupid's first appearance in a Monster High movie. Soon afterwards, the Monster High website announced that Cupid would be transferring to a new school to help more people find their "true heart's desires".

In 2013, Cupid appeared in the Ever After High webisode titled "Here Comes Cupid", confirming that she transferred to Ever After High.
The same year, another Monster High movie titled 13 Wishes was released, and many fans noticed that it contained several Ever After High Easter eggs. One of these Easter eggs was a flashback scene featuring Jiles Grimm, brother to Milton Grimm, the headmaster of Ever After High! @thesewordsofm-i-n-e has a post from the time of this movie's release that pictures said Easter eggs, linked below!

Hello good people of the Ever After H
In 2016, yet another Monster High movie Boo York, Boo York provided much more than Ever After High Easter eggs. At the very end, a ghoul named Astronova is on a FaceTime call with two of her friends, telling them that all the worlds they thought were fiction are actually real. Then we see the people on call are none other than Raven Queen and Apple White.
Mattel had allegedly planned for a Monster High/Ever After High crossover movie to release in 2016, under the working title Feary Tale. However, due to Disney's feud with Mattel causing a domino effect that ultimately killed Ever After High and the first generation of Monster High, Feary Tale was never finished.
Interestingly, the Monster High YouTube channel-- which has since been renamed "Mattel Imagine"-- posted short clips of Feary Tale storyboards on May 6, 2016, and according to the Ever After High main Wikipedia page, the franchise didn't officially end until October 7, 2016. The storyboard clips are presented as part of a miniseries in which Draculaura and Clawdeen Wolf go to a cinema and watch a new Hauntlywood film titled The Lost Movie.
In 2017, Little Brown published the final Ever After High book, The Legend of Shadow High by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale. This book was essentially a replacement for The Lost Movie, except it used lore from MH: G2, which kind of accidentally dismissed all the build-up that Mattel had been putting into the Monster High movies and Ever After High webisodes. It's still a good book but it's not exactly the crossover everyone expected.
So where does this leave us now, with Ever After High having been cancelled for a decade and Monster High in its third generation? Well, Cupid's inclusion in MH: G3 has given some fans hope for a second generation of Ever After High, considering Cupid was the first one to bridge the two franchises together.
Other fans, including myself, mourn what Feary Tale could have been. But not all hope is lost, because in addition to the storyboards on YouTube, plenty of concept art has been recovered over the years.
Feary Tale would be the movie of the crossover of Mattel's Monster High and Ever After High and was to be the fourteenth TV special of Monst
With storyboards and concept art from Feary Tale, as well as The Legend of Shadow High, talented fans have already begun reconstructing The Lost Movie. For example, YouTuber @drawing4fun re-animated the entire labyrinth scene!
@crunchyorochiru has an animatic that combines plot points from The Lost Movie and The Legend of Shadow High!
And creator @butterflycolours just recently assembled a team of fan animators in hopes of re-animating the entire movie!
There are several video essays on YouTube explaining The Lost Movie in more detail than I ever could, simply because I am relatively new to both fandoms. I encourage you to do your own research, read The Legend of Shadow High, and support artists who are trying to bring this crossover back to life!
