“What’s your favorite color?”, They would ask. A million colors flashed through my mind but then went straight to the color of your eyes… A soft brown- the color of a tree's bark, something so beautiful, yet so taken for granted. The light shade of orange they would turn when the sun shined on them. The color I fell in love with. But I pushed away the thought and just simply said, “Blue.”
