The easiest way to lose the holiday weight
is to just go back to the way you were eating and exercising before the holiday season started. That’s it. There’s no need for crash diets, hours upon hours of extra cardio or more gym days. Just get back on track and your body will go back to the way it was.

Here’s another great alternative to counting calories: wait until you start feeling the sensation of hunger (i.e., when your stomach starts to grumble) before eating and then stop as soon as you feel full (or eat just a little bit more if you’re trying to get bigger).

Do you feel fatigued all the time?

Are you losing interest in doing pretty much anything else?
If you answered “yes” to most (or all) of these questions, then you are overtrained! :(
Speed up your recovery by
Getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night
Eating nutritious food
Drinking lots of water
Not working out again until your body has recovered completely
Getting a full-body massage
Engaging in light physical activities like yoga
Stretching
Doing light cardio like walking, cycling or jogging
Not getting stressed
