Getting stronger means getting better at falling down. Joints that can withstand pressure, bones that are dense enough to withstand impact.
Strength isn't just about moving your body, it's about protecting it during worst case scenarios.
This is why building muscle is one of the most effective things you can do for your well being.
And remember building muscle does not require losing fat. You do not need to look tiny or toned to benefit from improving your muscle mass.
Every time an anonymous user calls me fat or says I need ozempic, the hate goes straight to my hips and glutes and makes them stronger.
I can leg press over 575 pounds (my latest PR) 🥺🤪💗
so basically I could crush your head in between my thighs like a fresh watermelon. And I will if you don’t stop talking shit

Update: my blog @afitterbrittany was restored!! Keep up with me over there as this blog will now be used as a backup.
Hey everyone, Brittany here ✨ (prev @afitterbrittany) My last blog got terminated for some reason. The email I received sounded like someone reported it and my appeal hasn’t received a response so I’m starting over in a new blog.
If you could reblog this so I can hopefully reconnect with all of my mutuals, I would really appreciate it!
For those of you that are new: welcome! My name is Brittany, I’m 30 years old and I’ve lost over 100lbs. I hit my goal weight of 145lbs back at the end of 2025. Embarking on my fitness journey has been one of the hardest and most transformative experiences of my life, but also the most important. I’ve learned so much about dedication, the joy of showing up for yourself, and healing my relationships with food and exercise. Along the way I have become an excellent cook and rediscovered my love for baking. I’ve taken so many walks and learned that I feel so at home in nature. I’m slowly discovering my personal sense of fashion and what looks best on me.
To have my last blog suddenly deleted and all the journal entries documenting my process abruptly gone has me feeling a deep loss, but I’m choosing to reframe it as a chance to start this new blog as a new chapter in my life, not as focused on weight loss, but on living a more balanced life. I’ve done the hard part, now I just need to maintain my healthy habits and embrace this next stage.
