aph-tired until may 2022 > tried if i already had mister-ddr, inspired in aph-/hws- urls. only "lurked" for most of the year, until i decided to make some own posts (and write fanfics). feb 2023, changed it for a last time to goldammerchen (little yellowhammer).
favorite or most used time period: post-war/cold war and the after, stopping 10-20 years ago for my sanity. but! my main focus is on characters rather than in mega exact historical accuracy: loosely historical, low fantasy, and meta.
rbed stuff has almost no tags! (sorry), i tag ships more than individuals.

hetalia hell and heaven are a funny concept, and best of all, canon lmao. everything heavely depends of people's believes so maybe (catholic) hell changed post dante's inferno—in heta if it is believed, it exists, like csm fears creating devils
what i'm thinking is that in heta-universe after-life you get what you believe, and if you believed in something for a long time, also that, so nation-people are fucked in any case. in addition there's parts where everything from different believes interacts or overlaps,,,,, like saint onii-san ig? asfsdf
Things such are Hell and Heaven are canon in Hetalia, where pretty much anything that humans believe strongly enough exist.

Much later (20XX or 2XXX), after Gilbert's death, the Devil using Gilbert's likeness to say hi to the same Europeans in nightmares—meanwhile Gil is actually recreating DOOM, and mostly losing, but don't worry he will get the hang of it eventually.
i like gil being stuck in some type of limbo (i read that protestants don't believe in that but shhhh), so he greets anyone that dies for a moment (maybe just the europeans, i don't want the rest of the world jumpscared by him unless are people that are quite font of him)
here's a secret: whatever you're doing, you have to root for your peers with all your heart because it forces you to root for yourself too. I've seen people in various spheres of my life (workplaces, education, art, activism) fall into the trap of envy and resentment when they see others succeed while they struggle, and it always always goes hand in hand with them pulling back and giving up and stagnating.
when you let yourself get sour grapes about shit, you tacitly give up on yourself. when you sit around hoping other people will flop and fail so you can catch up to them, you stop trying. it's a fantasy of mediocrity, the vain wish that other people would walk so you could take the gold medal at a jog. wouldn't you rather come last place at 27mph?
