݁˖𓂃 🌸 Xianyun had accepted the peace of solitude before he had experienced grief. He had known, that as time was forgiving to mistakes, it would now slow down the clockwork of mortality. As the saplings around him turned to plentiful trees to rotting husks, he had remained the same. All alone in the antique shops with the whispers that tomorrow would be another day.

Yet, his heart held onto one care that prickled and stabbed whenever he would hold the vase of a jumping dear. That day, when he turned around, and she smiled at him. Xianyun lost hundreds of dollars from the shattered vases that he rushed towards and out of the store.

The world paused around them, his arms wrapped around the woman who looked down at him with a bright smile. Perhaps, the birds would chirp and snap them out of their thoughts, that he would let her down enough where he wasn't desperate to the common man. But for now? For now, all Xianyun could whisper to his dear Luming words he never thought he could say again.
