Caine vs Tenna is my perfered for both, I feel like the dynamic is amazing and the music would bang. As for wheter or not Fan Battle cooked?... THEY NAILED IT.

This is the first fully animated Fan Battle and it's extremely fun I won't go over to much but I love them switching channels and adventures and the army fight while short was fun. And the comedy was gold especially the ending.

Goji here, it's been a while since I did these type posts and so I decided to talk about who I think would win and today I'm going to talk about a matchup I've been thinking about lately that being Hellboy vs Nero. I love this idea it has so much style and character and honestly what's not to love about it. Now with that being said I want to make one thing clear...

This is MY opinion. If you disagree that's perfectly fine, everyone can have there opinions after all and that's perfectly fine in the end of the day powerscaling is subjective.

And now without further ado I'm going to go over this matchup in three main categories, Speed, Endurance and Strength.

Speed

Let's start with the most obvious one. Speed, Nero can scale to DMC3 Dante who dodged laser giving him and Nero relativitstic speeds.

Meanwhile Hellboy is hypersonic meaning Nero takes speed easily.

Endurance

Now this is where things get interesting because while Nero does have better regeneration and the speed gap would make it so Nero would be getting hits in, the problem would be his Devil Trigger which does a time limit as we saw with Dante and Vergil which is important because Nero only has limited time while Hellboy has all time in the world thanks to being deathless and with Moldhemmi's bell he can comeback to life.

Meaning Hellboy would be able to outlast Nero due to his immortality and bell. However that doesn't mean just wins, after all even if you ways of coming back Nero's speed would make it so that he would be getting a ton of hits on Hellboy. Meaning what ultimately comes down to is stength.

Strength

Now at first glance you might think this simple but it's actually a bit more complicated. Let's start with Hellboy who actually has some impressive stuff as he can scale to the top tiers of his verse

Which would put Hellboy at universal which is impressive. But what about Nero? Well to answer we have to ask an important question.

Does Nero actually scale to the top tiers?

Or in other words does he scale to Dante, Vergil, Mundus? And while that does sound like an easy question to answer, but the truth is it's actually not that simple.

Let's start with DMC4. In Devil May Cry 4 Nero fougth Dante twice and in both situations Nero was outclassed by Dante who was playing around. And at the end when Nero is crushed by the statue Dante was able to defeat it, this and previous stuff clearly shows that Nero is far weaker than Dante. But with that being said... let's address the elephant in the room.

Devil May Cry 5. In that game Nero unlocked his complited Devil Trigger and punched both Dante and Vergil, and figth's Vergil right after. Now at first glance this does seem like Nero scales to or even surpassed Dante. BUT here's the thing, before that happened Dante and Vergil were foghting each other to the death and both were clearly tired meaning both weren't at full strength which means Nero fought a weaker Vergil which means he doesn't scale to the top tiers. And not to mention earlier in the game while Nero fought Urizen he beaten extremely badly so much so that Dante had to save him.

To put it simply I personally think Nero doesn't scale to DMC's top tiers since his shown to be far weaker on multiple occasions and when he fought Vergil it was tired/weaker Vergil and against Dante he was being played by him.

And so because of that Hellboy takes the edge as Nero doesn't scale to the top tiers who are universal like Hellboy meaning Hellboy would be able to take on Nero's attacks and while Nero does have superior regeneration Helboy has hellfire which caused demons to explode.

And there also more stuff but I don't enough time so I recommend reading this

Conclusion

While Nero is far faster and has superior regeneration, Hellboy just has the superior strenght and durability, and with his superior endurance he was able to wait until Nero runs out energy or just completely destroys him thanks to his hellfire. It looked like Hellboy's chances were "Nero" but Nero ended up triggering the wrong "Hellboy".

The winner is Hellboy.

What If? is a new VS show that like others is about putting two fictional characters against each other to see who would win, however unlike others What If? uses characters at there consistent level meaning no higher stuff if it's inconsistent.

Cell vs Metal Sonic was my 12th most wanted matchup and my perfered for both reason being that I love both characters and it has a lot of potential interms overall fight dynamic and it was also one of my predictions for 2026 if not my main one. So as you can imagine I LOST MY S#IT when it was announed, for real I couldn't belive we were gettining and if you saw my previous posts you know that I went all out, I made a prediction post, a post about the verdict in general, made my first hadn drawn track for it and even made a video for the matchup. Yeah as you can see I love it and now it's finally here so how was it? Here's my review on Death Battle's Cell vs Metal Sonic.

Analyses

Cell's analyses is perfect (pun intended) it starts of with Wiz and Boomstick talking about some mysterious monster in Ginger town, how it drains people and how it knew the kamehameha until getting into the origins. Already I love Cell's analyses since Cell's introduction was legendary if you watch/read DBZ then you know what I mean. After they talk about Cell's abilities, techniques and motivations, as well as talking about how Cell became less like monster and more like a saiyan and how Cell used the saiyan's lust for battle to gain his perfect form. Once they talk about the Cell Games things somehow got better with them saying how saiyan's urge to fight the one thing that allowed Cell to become perfect ended up spelling doom for him which was nice since it's true and it adds a bit of irony on how Cell's lust for fighting was the thing that killed him, also in the beggining they had a joke about Chiaotzu where they questioned what Cell got from and then later when they mention Cell got Chiaotzu's explosion which was funny.

Metal Sonic's analyses was also amazing with them talking about how Metal's hatred for Sonic grew and gave him a existential crisis before talking about his abilities and scaling. Until bringing up Sonic Heroes and how Metal Sonic copyed everyones data and became Metal Overlord, how he became insane beliving he was the real Sonic, after that they talk about Metal Sonic became Eggman's right hand man and how Eggman made sure he wouldn't betray him.

If I had to choose one word to describe the analyses it would be... perfect. Because that's what they are, they did a fantastic job talking about they powers, scaling and there stories with the end lines being my one of my favorites.

Cell's is "What can be destroyed can always be rebuilt. All it takes to recreate the most fearsome warrior in the universe... is one single cell."

Metal Sonic's is "Maybe the most powerful thing that Metal copied... was the ability to lie."

11/10 there amazing and I love it.

The Fight

This epiosde is animated by DevilArtemis, MORØ and Doovad... it's peak like what else can I say other than that. In all seriousness there's a lot to talk about so please go watch the fight and come back and if you did watch it then in that case I talk about it.

It starts of with Cell destryoing some Egg fleets with Cell hearing about Eggman's legacy and wanting to fight Eggman's strongest warrior as Neo Metal Sonic appears and the fight starts. The start is pretty good with Neo spin dashing towards Cell but Cell grabing Neo before being electrocuted before throwing Metal Sonic and using the multi form technique to get hits only for Neo Metal to use the black shiled with the clones punching it, with the main Cell firing a special beam canon which hits Neo Metal. Then we get some interaction with Cell saying "Tell me does a machines like yourself ever experienced fear" Neo Metal responding "Not anymore" as he becomes Metal Overlord.

Metal Overlord fires some crystals with Cell blocking them as Overlord throws or punches Cell into one of Eggman's machines with Cell using it like a physical spirit bomb. Then we get one of the coolest shots and my personal favorite

Cell walking through fire as we see Imperfect and Semi-perfect Cell before Perfect Cell emerges which is insanely peak and beautiful. Then we get another great lines, Cell saying "Fool your dealing with the ultimate lifeform" with Neo Metal saying "I already posses his data observe" as Neo was about to use chaos control before being interupted by Cell until he uses it and copys Cell's bio data and goes Super with Super Neo saying "I know what you are insect"

Then we get Cell spawning Cell Jrs and Metal spawning Metal Jrs (that's what I like to call them) with the kids fighting each other as Cell and Super Neo trade blow before Super Neo uses the tri-beam which was funny especially with Cell saying "Don't you dare".

Then we get to the climax with Cell becoming Super Perfect, both charging up there kamehamehas which leads into a beam struggle with Cell' saying "I'm not just the greatest warrior in the universe I'm all of them" with Cell's kamehameha ultimately winning before Metal uses chaos control and saying "If your all of them then so am I" and finally Super Neo uses a powerful beam that destroy Cell's body only leaving a nucleus with Metal Sonic using Silver's telekenisis to restrain him before... "I'll crush you".

11/10 this was truly beautiful and amazing DA, MORØ and Doovad did a fantastic job with the animation.

The Track

Despite what the track says Metal as Cell is actually composed by ThereWolf Media who did a good job with track. You can hear both Cell's and Metal Sonic's themes in the track especially "What I'm Made Off" in the climax. However while I do like the track I'm also dissapointed since I expected it to be a vocal track since come one it's Dragon Ball vs Sonic track while not having lyrics is perfectly fine... it having them would have been amazing.

9/10 unfortunatelly this is the weakest part of the episode but it's still pretty good.

Conclusion

As for the conclusion like the rest of the episode it's pretty great, they covered the 4 categories for the it those being strenght, speed, abilities and adaptation which I'll talk about them one by one.

Strenght was obvious while they put Cell higher than base Metal and ingeneral put Cell higher than solar system once they mention Metal Sonic stronger form the tables flipped, the only problem I have is that during this they start debunking universal Cell which was something they either A should have done it in black boxs or B don't mention universal Cell in the first place. But overall it doesn't since they put Super Neo higher anyway as they talked about Solaris threatening the multiverse so it doesn't matter since Metal took it.

Speed was ironic as they put Metal Sonic 180 quadrillion time FTL same with Cell with Goku flying Heaven to Hell but then they talk about how Goku did it in base and Super Perfect Cell is 100 times faster meaning Cell was faster which was ironic concidering Metal Sonic was designed to be fasrer than Sonic.

Abilities was a tie with both having energy attack, shiled and telekenisis, with Cell having more powers plus numbers with Cell Jrs but Metal had more powerful abilities like chaos control, Silver's telekenisis and others but Cell had one more advantage that being skill.

And finally there's adaptation which Metal Sonic took thanks to the fact that he can copy bio-data and Cell is made out of that meaning Metal would have all of the Cell powers and techniques while Cell can't absorb Metal due to being a robot while Android 17 and 18 are cyborgs.

Overall it's 11/10 they covered the conclusion pretty well especially how they gave the skill advantage without having a extra category for skill.

As you may know this is DevilArtemis' last Death Battle this due to him already having enough stuff to animated like his own chaneel and HFIL which is a TeamFourStar series as well as "fans" complaning about the animation and the verdict even though DA is just an animator.

Which is pretty sad since I love DevilArtemis both his channel and his work on death battle now sure not every death battle by DA was good but he still did his best and that doesn't change the fact that his still a great animator but more importantly is the fact that he tries his best and improves which is something I love and respect.

DevilArtemis if your reading this I just want to say thank you so much your truly amazing and I wish you the best.

Final Thoughts

With Realm of Gods' Springtrap vs Junko I've decided to give my take on the matchup especially since it's my 7th most wanted matchup and my perfered for both. But before I continue I want to make some things clear.

1. This is MY opinion, if you disagree that's perfectly fine more power to you in the end of the day opinions are subjective and everyone has there opinions.

2. Now this more so about what should be used for both. For Junko it's easy there's the games (not every game like V3 due to being non canon) and D3 anime. As for Springtrap there's the games and books which while aren't canon to the main timeline they do have the same world building so anything Springtrap could do in the books could do it in canon. However with that being said here's something that I know people will disagree but personally I think Glitchtrap and Burntrap should be included. Now I KNOW what your going to say

"Glitchtrap is the Mimic"

"Burntrap isn't canon"

And to that I say... that's just speculation. There's no confirmed aswer in regards to Glitchtrap being Mimic and while it does Burntrap was retconned there factors to concider which if you want to learn more in deph I reccomend cheacking this video that goes in deph.

But to make a long story short, keep in mind that the Blob showed up in Ruin so why would Blob be canon and not Burntrap and regarda to Scott's interview while he did have a different story for security breach that doesn't mean Burntrap isn't canon since in the end of the day the security breach we got is still canon and the Ruin DLC is still DLC for SC and and in terms of Glitchtrap Scott neantioned Glitchtrap being possessed AI. So yeah because of that I'm including Glitchtrap and Burntrap.

Now with all of that being said I'm going over this matchup in three categories: Stats, Powers and the Virus

Stats

Yeah in terms of stats it's not a contest, while William was able to dismantle the main 4 animatronic who easily destroyed the twisted ones who created a whole that gets to building level and Springtrap is even stronger than that so his either large building level to potentially small town level and he was able to keep up with a race car which is pretty fast...

But comparing Monokuma unites dodging EM waves is nothing since EM waves are able to move at light speed and not to mention powerful ones like the Big Bang Monokuma who was able to split a large cloud which would out it city level.

Now sure Springtrap does have higer arguments and to be fair Junko really doesn't scale to all of this so it's likely Springtrap would kill her, BUT the higher arguments aren't good since there questionable and Junko did survive most executions except for the last one, so overall while I do think Springtrap would be able to kill Junko the problem is that Junko's army would destroy William...

However stats aren't everything there are other factors to concider.

Powers

Now interms of powers Junko has the executions, the variouse Monokuma unites like beast, bomb, ball and others as well as the despair video which mind controls you, so she does have stuff that give William a run for his money...

If it weren't for the fact that William can control machines and metal as shown in the books like how he absorbed multiple animatronic and metal to become a kaiju (and yes that actually happened) not to mention William's remnant/agony. For those who don't know remnant/agony is the reason why the animatronic are possessed basically once a soul possesses a animatronic with remnant/agony it becomes one with it and while it the body can be destroyed and sould freed the remnant/agony remains and can be used in the form of metal liquid if injected to an object it can make it come to life with memories of the soul.

And William also has hallucinations like the phantoms that can mess with technology and also has the illusion disc that make you hallucinations seem real and can grab/poison souls.

Now sure Junko is the smarter one given her ultimate analasyes and Toko was able to exorcise a ghosts but the problem is that given Springtrap's weird remnant/agony shit as well as the phantoms and hallucinations getting the way it unlikely Junko would be able to figure out how to finish of Afton.

Now sure you could say she can just burn William or use the despair or the black light gun or any other mind f#ckery Junko has but due to remnants/agony being able to retain memories and Springtrap still being somewhat sane even though he was rotting for 30 years it's unlikely those stuff would work.

Also the whole burning thing isn't clear cut since Springtrap has survived a fire like in FNAF 3 where Fazbear's Frights was burned down and yet he survived, as well as Pizzeria Simulator where he was burned and yet he came back.

Meanwhile Junko hasn't shown any resistence to her sould getting poisoned or getting grabed and with William being able to control machines it's likely he would control the Monokumas and either absorb them or turn them against her.

However there's one thing we need to discuss that being

Alter Ego Junko vs Glitchtrap

Alter Ego Junko is a AI that behaves like Junko and control the Monokuma which would probably give William some trouble given AEJ's hacking ability... but that's where Glitchtrap comes in.

Glitchtrap was able to control the glamrocks who are sentient and not to mention he was able to control Vanessa turning her into Vanny and finally there's the fact that Glitchtrap can always come back as shown in Help Wanted 2.

Meaning Alter Ego Junko and even the real Junko would be corrupted by Glitchtrap like with Vanessa and the glamrocks.

Results

Overall while Junko's army was statstomping and Junko did have ways to put William down but in the end Springtrap's powers/hax, immortality, resistance and superior virus ultimately trapped Junko in despair.

The winner is William Afton aka Springtrap

Again this is just my opinion if you disagree that's perfectly more power to you. This was fun to reserch and personally that's one of the reasons why I love the matchup. But before I end things of I want to make a short review on Realm of Gods' take on the matchup, after they are the reason why I made the post.

RoG Junktrap short review

Interms of analasyes they were pretty good especially interms of edditing which is death battle level edditing, the fight was well animated and the sprites are beautiful. However there are problems I have with it mostly how they handled Springtrap, they put him at lowest end possible and give him scaling or anything good really and that cares to the fight while he does have moments it ultimately feels more like Junko ft. Springtrap and the conclusion while I dissagree I thought it was well handled.

It's a 7/10 it's a good video but it does have it's flaws.
