I shoulda left your ass on the curb the moment I recovered from that breakdown over the fact that I have a personality disorder that takes years to recover from, if I can at all, and you decided I wasn’t worth the effort. but I still gave a shit, still wanted you to be happy, still wanted you to be different from everyone else. so yeah, I checked up on you from an arms length away occasionally, asked if your dice came safely, tried to see if you were doing better and if I could help at all if you weren’t, cuz I thought when you said ‘take a break’ you meant ‘take a break’, not ‘fuck off and die’, and I was a dumb bitch who decided you were worth my time and energy. I made it a point all that time when I did contact you to try to focus on you, make sure you were okay, no matter what I as a person was going through, to the point that when I was in the hospital on suicide watch because the last friend I had abandoned me, I only contacted you after I was out and doing better, because I didn’t want to make it about me
