Hey pals ! Just wanted to make a little post reintroducing myself. I was very active in the Fitblr community a number of years ago. Unfortunately, despite the awesome benefits of this community, it did become an obsession for me and I had to step back to balance things out.
Since then, my blog has seen a few transformations, none that I was super active in. For a while I was convinced I wanted to be a trad wife 😂 (nothing wrong if that’s your jam and you respect others, just not my jam personally anymore).
Since leaving tumblr all together for a while, I’ve gotten married, gone through the immigration process for my husband to move from the U.S. to Canada (all while I was pregnant and then freshly postpartum). We moved from my parents into our own apartment not far from them. I’ve had lots of ups and downs since having my daughter including a lot of struggles with pain and chronic illness.
My goal for coming back to this tumblr community is to start making healthier choices for myself again. I’ve lost myself a bit since having my daughter and focusing on my job supporting special needs students (both of which I love). I do want to lose weight, but want to do it in a mindful and non obsessive way. I haven’t decided if I want to track cals again or if I just want to be more mindful. I’d like to get back into gentle exercise and keeping up with my water intake, consuming more veggies etc. However, I’d like to do this all without restriction or obsession.
If I sound like someone you might jive with, feel free to say hi or follow ! I’d love to build up a supportive online community for myself again and offer my support in return. Looking forward to making some more online wellness/weight loss buddies !
(P.s. numbers and calorie tracking no longer trigger me so even though I may not calorie track, I’m okay with having mutuals that do!)
