A church is a temple. Praying to the saints is ancestor worship. Priests and bishops are shamans and ritual specialists. Church service is a ritual. Prayers are incantations. Christianity as a whole is only monotheistic by technicality, because angels, demons, saints, Satan/Lucifer and the aspects of the trinity feel like they should be treated as different gods.
