I hate seeing ppl be like “moonlight didn’t really focus on being gay that much” like black people also face different problems in life HELLO…. and it really was like gay

the whole film was literally abt him coming to terms with his sexuality and how ppl treated him bc of his sexuality so idk how ppl can say it didn’t focus on being gay

all this proves is that white people don’t even consider black people past their blackness. this why they state and treat black and gay like mutually exclusive identities.
