If there is one thing Itachi excels at, it is reading people before they act. His greatest weapon is his ability to predict shots. Although using the Sharingan during official matches is forbidden, it is allowed to be used during training. His extensive preparation quickly enabled him to almost flawlessly predict where a shot is headed before it is even taken without using his Sharingan, and instead by analysing body positioning, foot placement and movement patterns in mere seconds. Beyond this ability, he possesses the calmness required of an elite goalkeeper. While others may panic under pressure, Itachi always remains fully composed.

Itachi is not a flashy goalkeeper. He rarely dives dramatically because he rarely needs to. Instead, he relies on positioning, prediction and decision making. He prefers to neutralise oncoming danger before it can actually turn into a threat.

Smaller than the average goalkeeper, making it harder to reach every corner of the goal
