Moving to a new aesthetic as an autistic person is crazy cause wdym ive accumulated all this specific stuff over years and then i lose complete interest and suddenly i have to completely switch gears in order to find happiness again?? Ts expensive ash

Somehow I can NOT find it within myself to hold grudges. Like no I dgaf about that time you did something because I don’t act like a saint and I know that everybody says some bullshit sometimes. Idk why everyone else I’ve ever met holds grudges because it’s SO much easier to just NOT do that. Like I know why you’re miserable, it’s cause you never let shit go, life genuinely gets so much better when you avoid making/keeping enemies.

Hottake but shunning a loyal friend for one slip up is diabolical. Like I said something ignorant, why are you acting like I killed a family of five and danced on their graves?

What more can you do but take accountability and apologize? What more can you do if that fails? What more can you do if that’s not enough, if that’s never enough?

Nobody can truly be a good person. We are all mean, we’ve all hurt someone’s feelings, and we’ve all regretted our actions at one point or another. Some have reached a level of awareness, where we see that what we are saying is mean or insensitive, but we lack the self control to hold it back. Your peers view it as normal and sometimes GOOD to do that to strangers. But what if you say it to your friends instead? The regret, the dread, then comes the realization that if it had been said in the direction of anyone else, it would’ve just been another day. Then your friends act high and mighty, like they are morally superior, but they said something as equally mean and problematic about a total stranger just yesterday. Cliques, my friends, are like echo chambers of delusion. Your friends may drop you due to a mistake that you regret, yet your honest apology gets lost within the echo of your initial blunder. The sound is vile. It’s like drowning while a crowd throws insults at you that you hear just outside the glass tank, watching you lose your breath, alone, cold, scared. Then they wonder why you become a recluse.
