Good Stuff

I am a late 20’s year old woman who has never really written anything before in her life because my English teachers have always told me that I’m no good at writing. I used to read actual books a lot as a kid but I traded them for fan fiction starting in my teens. Once college started I became more enthralled with getting my degree. Due to unfortunate events, I wasted many years on a degree that never came to fruition and spoiled my prime years on nothing.

Lately, I have found myself grasping at fan fiction, movies, shows, and much other media in order to cope with my disappointments and have garnered a blooming admiration for storytelling. It seems it’s something I’ve always been into due to my own fascination of gossip and ADHD imagination; it’s something that has always genuinely stimulated my mind in ways that school never really could.

Through this revelation, I have found a blooming inspiration in me as of late to maybe take up writing and give it a go. Maybe it might be to combat the rising depression taking over my life as I find myself unable to find a decent job in this economy, especially without a degree to supplement my efforts. Maybe I just want to say fuck it and try something new for once now that I find myself with too much time on my hands. Whatever it is, here is the raging question:

Would anybody read it?

Would anyone be willing to follow this new weird journey I would like to embark on just for the hell of it? I have no followers, no mutuals. I have spent almost a decade now on here and my presence on this platform is as minute as when I first created my account. Just a whisper in the wind.

So I reach out to the infinite abyss that is this platform to humbly seek out recognition and validation from vague pfps in return for my first ever story. A story carved from this stranger’s raw mind who is desperate need of polishing.

I may start out with cliches or plain writing but I would like to give it a try! I desire help in fine tuning the ideas I have to create something of value, and for that I would like to include anyone willing to follow in my writing process. So if you have made it this far, I would greatly appreciate any participation in my questionnaire below in order to gauge on what the masses would like to see me write first.

So most likely my first works will unequivocally revolve around him until further notice. I’m not saying my ideas are unique or even good but I have a couple AU’s surrounding him that I would like to explore if anyone is interested. Starting with:

Although I am big on shipping this man with other drivers, I do want to start out with heterosexual storylines because it’s what I know and I don’t feel quite confident carrying a story like that yet. Maybe with time! So here is my next question:

Would you read an OC character or perhaps prefer a Y/N setup?

I know the two options aren’t particularly popular, but considering I’m not writing him from a realistic standpoint but from more of a creative interpretation of him, maybe it’s not so bad to follow him surrounded by original characters of sorts? As for my last question, here it goes:

Are you pro smut? Or should I not be greedy and try to keep it exclusively clean for starters?
