Smaller Notes:

• Dambele is part of Ondarion in-game, whereas it is its own country in my lore. Katlego Anansi from my story Divided is mentioned as living just south of Dambele.

• I didn't realise / remember that in Sims 3, Shang Simla was in China, Al-Simhara was in Egypt and Champs les Sims was in France. In my lore, Shang Smila, Al-Simhara and Champs les Sims are the names of the actual countries. Dambele is southwest of Al-Simhara.

• Sulani, Selvadorada, Ravenwood, Windenburg and Tartosa are all their own countries.

• Selvadorada: It is believed that the worship of the Watcher began with the ancient Omiscan peoples, as much of the Jacoban and Peteran stories and beliefs stem from that found from Omiscan texts, artifacts and studies.

• Champs les Sims: The Lunvinchenaîné ('moon-shackled', the mooncasters/werewolves) originate from here.

• Not much is mentioned about Windenburg other than it being a big name in industrial matters in the time where my story Divided takes place (300 years before present day) and the work ethic of its people.

• Tartosa: The country was a terrible place to be under Volpe nobility, and the anti-nobility people there have been staunch supporters of magic-folk since witches burned down the Volpe mansion and killed every last member of the lineage bar Eduardo, who fled to Henford. Gianni Volpe, Eduardo's father, wrote a massive manifesto on the eradication of witchcraft and witches and published a book on the matter. Despite the witch-hunts being strongly associated with Henford and San Myshuno, most of the cause of this spread of hatred and fear stems from Tartosan nobility.

• I have no idea where Newcrest and Magnolia Promenade come into this. Newcrest I have always just used as an expanse of extra places that are meant to be in Henford.

Henford and the Surrounding Country

• Henford is part of a United Kingdom analogue called Henford and the Surrounding Country. - In my stories, Henford changes constantly between country and county. It's a country. - Innisgreen is its own country which is very close to Henford and considered part of the 'surrounding country'. Which not many Innisgreen residents are too fond of. - Henford was originally called Henford-on-Glimmer, as the River Glimmer flows into the Glimmerbrook falls. It was renamed to the River Bagley at one point after the surname of a Finchwick mayor, in an assumed and very weak attempt to try and scrub the bloody history of the witch-hunts from the place. Most people just call it Henford without the On-Bagley. - Glimmerbrook, Willow Creek, Granite Falls, Foxbury, Brindleton Bay and Britechester are all in the country of Henford. - Henford is not viewed favourably by other countries, many citing the arrogance and self-centeredness of its peoples.

Lunvik

Known as Moonwood Mill in-game, Lunvik is a place that is near-ish to Henford but closer to Champs les Sims, Windenburg and Tartosa.

It is a small place named after Greggorius Lunvik, the founder of the place and considered the forefather of the werewolves. He and his brethren fled their land and settled here as a way to bring a safe space for the werewolves, who were victims of the witch-hunts but largely considered bigger threats than witches (considered this alongside vampires) and therefore received even less sympathy than the witches got.

Greggorius defended his territory with much violence and convinced other werewolves to do the same, so many did not learn the defensive magic that lunar magic grants like lunar shields as many fought back in the form of a wolf instead. Some people considered this the reason the mooncasters fell, but the blame does not solely fall on Greggorius's shoulders. There is only one person living there at the start of Divided and the only others living in Lunvik is the wolf packs and other animals.

The rough US analogue

• San Myshuno is the biggest and most populous city in this country. • The country is comprised of San Myshuno, Oasis Springs, Strangerville, Copperdale, Evergreen Harbour, Del Sol Valley and Chestnut Ridge are considered part of the country.

• Strangerville: This is a mocking nickname for the place. The place itself is called New Sixam as it was settled by Sixamians after first contact 50 years prior to the present day. The indigenous peoples of the past there worshipped a flower-like goddess that old texts state gave life to the arid desert and granted them 'clarity'. Many texts written about this flower-like goddess sound disjunct, in very strange handwriting and almost obsessive in a way that every other text from this era doesn't.

Sixam

Sixam is slightly less far away from Earth as Mars is to us and is home to the Sixamians. They made first contact with Earth 50 years before the present during a time they call (translated) Age of the Last Seed, where a sort of illness that affected their fertility risked causing the species to go extinct and forced them to go looking for similar life nearby to help with the matter.

The weird plants in Strangerville originated from Sixam and were brought back for some sort of research, and whilst this research was carried out by none other than mad scientist Loki Beaker and another man, it also ended up being allowed to continue due to interest from Strangerville's military, likely with intent to use the bizarre fruits and plants as a bioweapon of sorts. Vidcund Curious, a scientist well known for his botanical interests and research, worked on the study of these plants and worked on studies dedicated to eradicating them in Strangerville for the sake of the people and the ecosystem alike.
