I fit an apartment worth of hobbies and stuff into a single bedroom.

Years of clothes accumulation for a body ever-changing, beadwork, sewing, incense making, general art,brewing supplies, divination and witchery, and somehow 9 shrines.

The landlord is fixing all our windows, and the walls and ceilings (rent is going up and he needs to do the upkeep work to justify it).

I work second shift and do not have the space to clear all of my stuff.

But also, I'm not my stuff.

I never would have done this in the past, but I am agreeing to let the landlord and his workers move my things while I'm at work so they can work on the windows and ceiling.

I don't know how they'll do it.

They have so much to get past. But ancient votives and old herbs and glass tchotchkes, even the active shrines, can be moved, down sized, made better.

I am not my things. And even though i am my mothers child and view my things as my wealth. I am not any of this. Every spirit relationship I havr will withstand some strange hands bumbling their icons for a day or two. Assuming they can get it all done in one or two days. Windows might take longer.
