Details in The Last Of Us Part II
Like I said in one of my previous posts, I noticed new (at least for me) small details in several TLOU2 demo breakdown videos. These videos are in French (3 breakdowns), and I don’t think they have been tackled yet. Now, I haven’t watched every single breakdown video, so some of the following “new” things might be no news for you (especially the things regarding Eugene).
I gathered pieces of information from 3 breakdowns, and split them into 3 categories: “Patrol”, “The Library”, and “Gameplay/Seattle”.
PATROL
- First, we learn that Ellie is finally able to live a normal life in Jackson: she goes to school and has several friends.
- The horses’ names are mentioned: Dina’s horse is called “Japan”, and Ellie’s is called (the journalist gives the name in French) “Paillette” which can be translated as “Spangle”, “Glitter” or “Flake”. Now I don’t know if the guy played a French version of the demo (I highly doubt that), or if he just translated the name itself. So we’ll have to wait for the game to see Ellie’s horse definitive name in English.
- You can see calendars in the game that still read “2013”, giving the impression that time stopped, that everything remains frozen in time.
-See this shot of Ellie and Dina?
They are in a watch tower. There they have to sign a patrol logbook. You can see that Joel signed the logbook on December 28th for the last time (he wrote that he encountered a few clickers in the area). Then you can see Ellie signing it on March 2nd. So March 2nd is probably the day the blizzard appeared, and March 1st should correspond to the party where Ellie and Dina danced and kissed.
-Joel used to go on patrol with Eugene (the guy who died from a stroke).
THE LIBRARY
- The library was Eugene’s place, where he used to stash his weed.
- We know this is the place where Ellie and Dina discuss their kiss from the night before, but we also now know that they’ll both talk about their respective ex-lovers. This scene may give us more information about Kat, Ellie’s ex-girlfriend.
-It has already been confirmed that Dina and Ellie are going to kiss again (and maybe more), but one of the journalists gave more details about the kiss. He described it as “fiery”, much more passionate and intense than the kiss during the party (E3 trailer). Sign me the f up.
GAMEPLAY/SEATTLE
- WLF (Washington Liberation Front) members are referred to as “Wolves”.
- This one’s not a big piece of info but I find it a bit funny. We know one of the new infected types is the “Shambler”. Now I have no idea what “Shambler” means in English, but they are apparently called “les Puants” in French, which literally means “the Stinkers” (“smells really bad”). Do the Shamblers have anything to do with the sense of smell?
- The actual gameplay is as fluid as in the E3 trailer. One of the journalists was impressed by Ellie grabbing the bottle while running in the gameplay reveal trailer, so he tried to do the exact same thing, and it worked. He got the same smooth animation, so the gameplay definitely hasn’t been downgraded.
- When you are spotted by an enemy, flee, run. If you don’t you’re screwed.
- Verticality was mentioned, and we’ll get to explore a lot of underground levels (like basements).
- ok, we know levels are going to be more open (still kinda linear but much less than in Part I). If you get lost, if you can’t find the right path, know that the game won’t help you, it won’t give you any indication of direction. You’ll have to explore the environment to find your way on your own.
- If Ellie melee attacks an enemy who wears a bulletproof vest, she’ll try to hit them in other unprotected parts of their body. Nice detail imo.
- And last point (I think this has already been confirmed), Ellie is looking for Tommy in Seattle.
And that’s it! Other than the details listed above, the 3 breakdowns don’t reveal much more than we already know.
"Make me proud, Ellie!"
— Anna's words (Ellie's mother) from the artifact "Note from Mom"
Joel: Could you not stand so close? You’re making me claustrophobic.
Ellie: What does claustrophobic mean?
Sam: It means he’s afraid of Santa Claus.
Joel: No, it doesn’t.
Ellie: HO! HO! HO!
Sam: Stop it, Ellie you’re scaring him!

Dina leaving scratches on Ellie’s back that (Joel/Maria/Kat?) sees and now Ellie has to explain where they came from
HiI Thanks so much for requesting!
This was a lot of fun to write, and I hope you enjoy it!

When Ellie reached beside her to feel for the familiar figure that had laid next to her all night and found she wasn’t there, her eyes fluttered open, and morning light invaded all of her senses, rendering her blind. White light poured in from the window, the blinds were up – which had been left that way all night amidst the carelessness and fervor of the night before – and the curtains parted.
That warm body – which had made its way into her bed and claimed the spot beside her – had vacated, leaving nothing but tossed sheets and blankets. A slight indentation printed into the impressionable mattress marked its presence from what seemed like mere minutes of emptiness.
Wiping the sleep and exhaustion from her eyes, Ellie sat up, the coldness of the winter air around her hitting against surprisingly bare skin. Goosebumps immediately marked her arms and legs, and she found herself embracing herself, as a shield from the cold.
As the cold touched her skin, suddenly the memories all came flooding back to her. The night before – it was warm, dizzying. That body, it took the shape of Dina. Her best friend, her girlfriend. It had started with one kiss that turned to two which turned to four which turned to a strand of kisses trailing down a sweaty, freckled neck and down a chest, past supple breasts. The feeling of warm hands battling the icy cold against her shoulders, her back. Pressing hard kisses to her and feeling the eager, desperate return. Bare skin against bare skin, strong hands over soft thighs as the shorter girl fell upon Ellie’s lap, legs on both sides, hair messy and slicked with the immeasurable heat. The feeling of digits enclosed in warmth and the sound of her name being called past perfect, worn lips.
Just the thoughts alone ignited a fire in Ellie’s belly, sending flush to her cheeks and jolts down below. It only took seconds for a sudden pain to throb from her back, turning her attention to it. She furrowed her brows and scrunched her face, the pain hitting her all at once.
Reaching back, her fingertips grazed over raised lines, sensitive to the touch. She winced as she felt over one, two, three, four of them. On the other side, she found the exact same pattern repeated, only more painful.
Inquisitively, she stood and quickly made her way to the conjoined bathroom on the far side of the room, beside the door to the hall. She was met with her completely topless body, freckled and marked; small breasts peaked ever so slightly by the cold. In seconds, she turned her whole body so her back faced the mirror, and she audibly gasped at the sight.
Her shoulder blades and upper back were marked with harsh, bright red track marks leading down to her midsection. They had Dina written all over them.
Ellie wracked her brain, trying to remember when she obtained the scratches – there was no way, even in her lust-filled haze, that she wouldn’t remember those nails raking down her back. Surely, she would remember the pleasurable pain it caused in the middle of a heated moment.
But she didn’t. Nothing occurred to her. The whole act came to her in parts, like a dream she couldn’t quite place. It was all in pieces, much like she’d been last night.
A clanging of metal echoed throughout the house, followed by a curse of a sweet, familiar voice she knew all so well. The same voice that called her name to the heavens and gasped into the cold nighttime air just hours before the sun rose. The sound of her voice alone brought a warmth to run through her body.
She immediately started for the stairs, but not before dressing herself in a tank top and sweatpants, throwing on her wrinkled, messy flannel that had been tossed across the room in the heat of the moment from the night before. Sure, she looked heavily disheveled, but due to the considerable number of garments spread across the floor, which she recognized to be Dina’s, she was fairly sure her lover wasn’t dressed very properly, either.
The smell hit her all at once, prompting the saliva to form in her mouth. That same, delicious smell of Dina cooking a good morning’s breakfast. Normally, Ellie was up first every morning, and she usually took charge of breakfast, but she had to admit, it was nice to be able to wake up to the smell of freshly made eggs and vegetables prepared by Dina every once and a while.
The kitchen was bright and glowing, the white tiles gleaming in the morning sunlight that poured in from the little window above the sink. The back-door window allowed even more brightness to enter, with the open living room full of windows lighting up the entire first floor. Everything felt so comfortable, she could bask in the light for hours.
“You okay?” Ellie asked, stepping around the corner to take in the scene before her.
Dina, clad in a familiar gray hoodie that reached down to her mid-thigh, legs bare to the open, hair tucked messily into a bun, had been bent over, picking up a large pan that had fallen out of the cabinet with the spatula and pots. Dina turned at the sound of Ellie’s voice, those black pools for eyes looking at her so gently, and smile formed on her freckled face.
“I’m great, Freckles,” she teased, turning back to the counter, taking the spatula and placing it over the eggs frying in a small egg pan. “We really gotta clean out these cabinets.”
Ellie grinned to herself, taking a few steps forward until she gently pressed her front against Dina’s back, placing rough hands against soft, shapely hips through the thick fabric blocking her hands from making electrical contact between their skin. Dina immediately leaned into the touch; eyes still fixated on the eggs bubbling in the pan.
“How’re you feeling?” Ellie murmured, pressing a kiss into the side of her lover’s neck.
“Sore,” Dina answered in monotone, but the smile was present in her words. “You’re quite satisfying, you know that?”
Ellie smirked against her skin. “No, I didn’t. Tell me more,” She teased.
“Fuck you,” the shorter girl retorted playfully. “I’m good, though. Even better when I woke up and saw all of the little gifts you left me las night.”
“Gifts?” She asked with an amused raise of an eyebrow.
Dina turned to face her, still keeping her body as close as she could to the taller girl. Facing off to the side and revealing the delicious skin on her neck, Ellie’s heart dropped when she saw the many, many “gifts” she had left.
Littered along her neck were small but prominent bruises. Every hickey was marked a purplish-red, fresh and vibrant. Ellie’s face flushed with complete astonishment, her fingers running along each mark.
“Holy shit, D,” Ellie gaped, marveling in just how many there were. “I’m really sorry.”
“Sorry?” Dina laughed. “I was gonna thank you for them, but I’ll take your sorry.”
“Thank me?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Dina resumed her head’s natural position, placing an open hand against Ellie’s chest. “I quite like them.”
“How are you gonna hide them?” She asked, fingers moving up to graze them again.
Dina shot her a wicked smirk. “Who said I was hiding them?”
“You’re just gonna wear them out, then?”
“Well,” Dina shrugged innocently. “Yeah.”
Ellie rolled her eyes with a smile. “That’s not totally obvious or anything.” She remarked sarcastically.
Dina shrugged again, giving her a dastardly mischievous look, with sin written behind her gaze, hidden in those dark eyes that were just feigning innocence. She turned away to break the eggs into the plates she had set up beside the stove. In a bowl set on the other side of the stove, Ellie could see some kind of morning salad, the rich, vibrant lettuce leaves poking up over the rim of the bowl.
“Are you scared of someone seeing?” Dina pressed in the most teasing tone she could muster. “You scared Daddy’s gonna see?” The voice was so mocking – Ellie wanted to shut her up with a searing kiss, but she held herself back.
“Let’s just hope we don’t run into him,” she brushed off, moving to sit down at the table, bringing with her the bowl with the salad and placing it neatly in the center, making sure to leave room for the eggs. “Oh, you left some ‘gifts’ on me, too, last night.” Ellie had forgotten the dull pain on her back until she sat, leaning her back against the chair.
“Did I?” Dina mused, curiously. “Where?”
Ellie stood then as Dina brought the eggs to the table, holding them to concentrate on Ellie skillfully removing her flannel and tank top, clad in a bra, and as she turned, she heard the gasp from the shorter girl behind her. She was surprised it wasn’t followed by a dropping of the bowl. Cool fingertips ran over the nasty red lines, tracing them in disbelief.
“Holy shit, El,” Dina awed. “I’m really sorry.” She broke out into a short laugh at the words. “Do they hurt?”
“They’re manageable,” Ellie shrugged indifferently. “At least I can hide mine.”
Dina just smiled. “Maybe,” she sat gingerly, placing the plate down and taking some eggs from it. “It’s quite hot out today, though, so be careful.” She reminded with a mirthful wink as Ellie turned to take her seat.
“I’ll be fine,” the taller girl assured with a snarky look to her girlfriend.
“You sure about that?” Dina loved pushing her buttons.
“Just shut up and eat.”
•••
Of course, it had to be the day in September that was 80 goddamn degrees that Joel insisted he come over to help rebuild the fence in Ellie and Dina’s backyard that had been completely ruined by a storm that surged through just over a week before. It was that day, of all days.
“It’s the only day I got time,” he had urged. “I’m scheduled every day after today.”
Ellie tried to make him understand that she was completely capable of doing it herself, but clearly that hadn’t clicked through that thick, Texan skull. He hadn’t budged, not even a little.
Readying all of the materials and tools beforehand, Ellie prepared to work, sporting the same tank top with the flannel over it from that morning, changing quickly into jeans and a belt, with her heavy, black boots.
Dina couldn’t get enough of the view. She kept demanding that Ellie remove the flannel, just so she could “get a good look”, as she put it. Eventually, after many minutes of fighting, Dina would just give up. It was only occasionally that she looked back towards the house from the outside, bent over on a knee, nailing wood into the fence, sweating bullets, did she see that devious watchful gaze from the window of their bedroom, eyes focused on every muscle in her arm and back through the tight fabric of the flannel.
She and Joel were quick to get to work in the blazing heat, sun pouring down and seeping into their skin, the sweat unavoidable as they continued to roast for longer and longer like meat in an oven.
It wasn’t long until she heard the sliding door open, and footsteps came toward her and the older man as they worked diligently. All of Ellie’s hopes dropped at that point.
“Hey, guys,” Dina greeted sweetly, no more than an hour after they began to work. “Can I get you two anything?”
“No, thank you, sweetheart,” Joel answered, eyes still trained on the nail he was hammering into the wood. “I’m alright.”
“Ellie?” The sultry voice burned her brain, making a shiver ride along her spine.
“No, D, I’m okay,” she dismissed quickly, hoping to every higher power that Dina just turned and left. But of course, that didn’t happen.
“Oh, El, you look so hot in that damn thing,” Dina pointed out innocently. “Take the stupid thing off.” She tugged at the flannel from behind. Ellie refused to turn and look. “Why are you even wearing it? It’s a hundred degrees out here.”
Oh, you bitch, Ellie thought, her teeth clamping down together in resistance. She wanted to take it off, but God only knew she couldn’t.
“I’m fine,” Ellie insisted through clenched teeth. “Could you get me some water, actually? I’m pretty thirsty.” She turned just slightly, so she could see the struck look on Dina’s face, the narrowed eyes glaring at her in disbelief at her unexpected, intelligent move of buying herself some time away from Dina.
Just as Dina started to walk away, Joel chimed in.
“Yeah, what the hell are you doin’ wearin’ that damn thing, anyways?” He pressed. “If you pass out, I’m not helpin’ you.”
“I’m fine,” Ellie repeated, her voice urgent.
Joel gave her an unamused, deadpanned look. “What are you killin’ yourself for? Just take it off.” The suspicious look he was giving her was enough pressure to prompt Ellie to sigh, and slowly remove the clothing.
She turned back to the clear sliding door, seeing Dina’s look of complete triumph in her smirk as she stood just behind the glass. Ellie glared at her before turning back to the fence to continue working, back facing away from Joel now in order to keep him from seeing it.
Business continued as usual, and Joel barely even looked her way for a while after that. Dina came back out with the water minutes after Ellie asked, and disappeared quietly back into the house, not bothering to say another word. That snide look was enough to turn Ellie to ash. As she got lost into thought while she worked, the minutes seemed to pass by like seconds. The entire time she barely registered what was happening around her.
That was, until Joel got up to walk over to her to get more nails for his end of the fence.
By then, Ellie had realized far too late. She jumped to face him, hiding her back, but to no avail.
“What the hell was that on your back?” Joel demanded, taking her by the shoulder and jerking her forward, getting a better look at the scratches that peeked above the hem of her tank top. He moved the fabric out of the way and examined each individual scratch.
Speechless, Ellie scrambled for an excuse. “It’s nothing, I’m fine!” The panic in her voice was far too evident for Joel to miss.
“How’d you get those?”
There wasn’t a word to describe the terror and panic in her face when Joel stared into her soul, eyes fiery and all-knowing. She knew that no matter what excuse she managed to pull out of her ass, Joel knew exactly what those were and what they were from. Ellie had to fight the urge to look to the house for that bastard of a girlfriend she had.
“On my patrol yesterday,” Ellie lied through her teeth. “We got attacked by clickers and runners. One got me from behind.” She said, hoping Joel didn’t hear the massive gulp she took. “I’m literally fine.”
Joel’s eyes narrowed – he clearly wasn’t buying Ellie’s bullshit. Ellie wasn’t even buying her own bullshit.
“A clicker did that?” He clarified; his voice laced with doubt.
“Yeah,” Ellie answered, trying to sound firm and confident, but failing miserably – the one word coming out completely insecure.
Joel hummed. “You sure this clicker didn’t have a name?” His eyebrow shot up, and Ellie’s heart fell down.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
Joel just shook his head and hummed again, before taking a handful of nails and silently making his way back to his part of the fence. Ellie sighed in relief as he left, but the tremors running up and down her body didn’t stop for a second.
Whipping her head around to look at the house, her eyes met directly with Dina’s, who was watching devilishly from the window. She’d never stared daggers into anyone like she did with Dina. Joel must’ve seen because his snarl from the other side of the backyard was sharp and refined.
“Stop lookin’ over there. Focus on what you’re doing. I reckon you two have already had enough of each other for one day.”
Blood rushed to her face as she turned back around and continued to hammer into the fence. She and Joel didn’t say another word to each other the entire time. They finished the fence just as the moon began to rise over the houses of Jackson, and with a sweet farewell to Dina, Joel departed. His eyes lingered a little too long on her neck before he left, but nonetheless, he barely said a word to Ellie.
Following the slam of the door as Joel left, Ellie turned to Dina with a fire in her veins.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” She demanded, crossing her arms.
Dina couldn’t repress her laughs. “Sorry, baby.” She purred, placing her hand against Ellie’s cheek and bringing her lips to her other one. On her tip-toes, she kissed her sweetly, before stepping back. “Are you mad at me?”
“Yes, very,” Ellie replied coldly.
Taking her arm in her hand, Dina tugged on the strong forearm. “Why don’t you show me how angry you are at me?” She asked in that same sultry voice from earlier.
Ellie turned, giving an icy stare in the other direction. She refused to be tempted by her.
“You could just leave more bites on me,” Dina suggested. “Or scratch me, how about that?” She brought her lips just to Ellie’s cheek. “Show me how angry you are at me.”
Giving in with a shiver down her spine, Ellie quickly grabbed the girl, swooping her off her feet, and carried her to the stairs.
Oh, she was going to show her, all right.

Morning rose through the wide windows of the room in Ellie and Joel’s home, causing Ellie’s eyes to crack open and for thoughts to come flooding through gates and into her mind. It took her a moment to register the soft blue cushions she was lying on wasn’t her bed – it was, in fact, the couch, and a blanket was tossed lazily across her body.
Memories from the night before surge back to her tired mind – the dance, the string lights, the people dancing, Dina’s eyes in the light, Dina’s lips leaning up to kiss hers, taking her home… But that was all that happened.
She briefly remembered what happened after Ellie brought Dina to her home to shelter her from the snowfall that had started just as they were leaving. Dina’s arm had snaked around Ellie’s own, and the two quickly made for the small house on the corner that smelled of home. It was a cute little home, white on the outside with navy rafters, a slanting gray roof, a garage that surpassed the front door and porch to the right. The house was just in front of the back wall of Jackson, the wooden fence lining the sides and connecting against the metal. Ellie led her inside the empty house. Dina, still being cold from the chill of the falling flakes outside, shivered lightly while taking her seat on the couch, and Ellie impulsively removed her flannel to wrap it around the freezing girl. Soon after, Ellie offered Dina her bed, and she found herself falling asleep on the couch as the shorter girl rested easily upstairs.
Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she stood and stretched inelegantly, opening her mouths to release a deep yawn. There was something about the silence in the home that made it all the more comfortable. Knowing Dina was sleeping peacefully upstairs in her covers – her scent would be imprinted into the sheets, the pillow, the room – she felt safer in her own home than she ever had before.
Joel’s absence served as a huge help in her endeavor, his patrol lasting multiple days and multiple nights. His room – which remained locked, in case Ellie had any funny ideas about letting friends into their home – was cold and empty, but she awaited his return with comfort. Thankfully, he was gone for the time being, or else Dina sleeping in their house probably wouldn’t have blown over so smoothly with his very untrusting self. Even though he knew Dina, he wouldn’t have been all that happy about Ellie letting someone else enter their home, unsupervised, and letting them stay overnight. He wasn’t a sleepover person.
The urge to go into her room to check on the sleeping girl hit her then. Luckily for her, her sense stopped her. It would be weird, she thought, If I just walked in there. She quickly decided against it, and headed to the kitchen to get a drink of water.
Pouring the liquid from the container of water into the cup about halfway, she brought the plastic up to her lips and let the cold slide down the back of her throat. Her mind was in a morning haze, and slowly but surely, she felt herself sinking into a pool of thoughts that just kept leading her deeper and deeper.
What it felt like to hold Dina in her arms, hands placed gently on the curve of her back, fingers feeling the sweat that seeped through the thin maroon shirt she sported, the way her soft hands felt pressed taut against the back of her neck, sending warm shocks throughout her body. The way Dina squeezed her face against Ellie’s, making her sinful mind wander curiously to what she thought it would feel like to have the rest of Dina’s body pressed to her like that.
It was undeniable – Ellie was attracted to Dina. She’d never made it a point to hide it or deny it with herself. Of course, she’d never shown Dina. That girl could have anyone she wanted, and she knew it. What sense was it to tell her? There had been no indication that Ellie picked up on in the past that Dina had even looked at her that way. The night before was the only time she could ever recall any kind of romantic interaction. There were plenty of times that Dina would make a remark or gesture that would make Ellie’s mind spin within her skull, making her wonder for hours and days on end whether or not Dina wanted her the same way Ellie did. But every time, Ellie would dismiss it as nothing but her best friend being playful, as Dina had a naturally flirty, confident nature. Besides, she dated Jesse for a few weeks. Ellie was the last person Dina was looking at.
Despite it all, Ellie couldn’t help the raw attraction she felt for the girl. She’d stay up for nights, wishing Dina were beside her, so she could reach over and touch her, feel her, kiss her. Knowing she was in someone else’s bed drove her mad. Jealousy would burn inside her like hellfire. She wanted to be the one to caress that soft, freckled skin, hold that face, kiss those plump, sweet lips. She wanted Dina in her bed, underneath her, next to her, on top of her hips.
But, it hit her then, that Dina was in her bed. She was alone, in her bed, in her covers, with no Ellie beside her. She desperately wanted to change that.
It took a lot of restraint but, again, she ruled against it. She didn’t want to scare Dina off because, at the end of the day, Dina was still her best friend, regardless of Ellie’s hopeless feelings of attraction she felt for her. Freaking Dina out and Dina never speaking to her again was among Ellie’s greatest fears, and she didn’t want to risk it all for a few seconds of pathetic satisfaction.
Her mind was stubborn. She knew what she wanted. And as much as she tried to fight it, when her legs started to move on their own up the steps, down the hallway and to her room, she felt all of her guilty conscience surrendering to the wanton movement of her muscles as her arm reached for the doorknob and turned it.
She didn’t step in all the way, she just peeked her head into the room. The light pouring through the window, white flax linen curtains giving the room a silky and grayed hue, lighting the room but also keeping it a shaded contrast at the same time. Standing just a few feet away was Ellie’s bed, the covers tossed and turned, a lazy body placed within them.
Ellie didn’t dare walk forward, not until a soft hum came from the bed, prompted by the curt squeak of the old wooden door. Stepping in and letting the door fall against the wooden frame that held it without closing, Ellie found her heart starting to race as the scene before her opened up more and more.
Dina’s head was turned toward her, half of her body encompassed by the covers and the other half bared to the cold air, and that’s when it hit her: Dina was in nothing but Ellie’s flannel.
The heart racing behind her chest only sped up, as she realized this was a terrible mistake she’d made. She cursed her inability to resist the temptation of seeing the black-haired girl in her bed. Ellie couldn’t believe her own stupidity and lack of control, and she struggled to provide an explanation to the girl who looked at her with an unreadable, yet calm expression.
“Dina…” was the only word that escaped her lips for a dreadful moment. The girl’s expression never changed. “I-I’m so sorry… I just wanted to c-check… on you…” Ellie quickly shielded her eyes to protect Dina’s modesty. She hated the warm, shocking feeling that had been sent throughout her entire body at the sight of Dina’s breasts just only covered by the flannel. “I didn’t know you were…” she trailed off, unable to finish the jumble of words that passed into the cold air.
“No, no,” Dina said then, so gently, as if she were walking on a lake of the thinest ice you’d ever seen. “It’s okay.” Ellie, panicked, turned to the door to quickly step out, but her whole body froze as Dina demanded: “Come here.”
Ellie’s body was completely solid against the doorknob, and it took her a minute to process the words that had come from Dina’s mouth. None of this was a dream; all of this was completely real. She had to remind herself of that as she let go of the knob and reluctantly took a few steps toward the bed. Even then, she kept her eyes off of the gorgeous girl in front of her.
Dina giggled at Ellie, and once the girl was within her reach, Dina took her arm and pulled her gently into the bed beside her, covering them both with the comforter so that the two girls’ heads were the only thing poking out from the thick blankets. Dina’s hand was still wound tightly around Ellie’s forearm beneath the covers.
The silence was eating away at Ellie in the most excruciating way. She made it a point to strictly keep her hands at her sides – not to touch Dina in any way whatsoever. She didn’t know where she was touching, whether or not her hand would run over soft skin or the fabric of her flannel and she just wasn’t prepared to take that chance of finding out if she did.
Ellie didn’t dare say a word. The words were stuck to the back of her throat like glue. She was a slave surrendering under those murky, tantalizing eyes staring right back at her.
“Did you sleep okay on that couch?” Dina’s question caught her off guard, and through her nervousness and her surprise, Ellie found herself smiling back at the girl who simply grinned at her.
Nodding lightly, Ellie replied with the softest: “Yeah.”
“I couldn’t sleep,” Dina admitted.
Ellie’s expression turned to confusion. “Was it too cold in here? Too uncomfortable?” she suggested, guiltily. “I’m sorry, I should’ve made you more comfortable–”
“Oh, no,” the shorter girl cut her off. “This bed is quite comfortable, El.” She made it a point to bounce lightly on it, as if to prove her point. “This room as quiet and cozy and… perfect, I don’t know.” Dina broke eye contact with her for just a second to glance down at the sheets. “I love it in here.”
“Then…” Ellie’s head cocked slightly to signify her incertitude.
After another break of their eye contact, Dina spoke again. “I was thinking about you… And just… Everything that happened last night.”
“Oh.”
Everything she was saying took Ellie by surprise.
“I was wishing that you were in bed with me,” Dina confessed gently, this time, her eyes never leaving hers. That warm hand that had dragged her underneath the covers slowly slid upwards, dancing against her skin and igniting goosebumps in its path.
Gulping with complete shock and anxiety, Ellie struggled not to shake under Dina’s touch. She tried to reassure herself, to keep the nervousness down underneath the surface, but it was nearly impossible with the way Dina was looking at her, feeling her, drinking her in. To maintain her self-control was among the hardest things Ellie had ever done.
“Oh,” Ellie’s breathing harshened as Dina slowly leaned her face in, pressing her forehead against hers, allowing their noses to touch side-by-side. “Wh… Why’s that?” she asked, almost courageously. She was nearly gasping for breath.
“There’s so much I still wanted to say,” Dina’s hand moved over to press against Ellie’s abdomen. “There’s so much I wanted to do, I just didn’t know how to say it or how to show you.” Her whispers were dizzying, the warm breath hitting her face in a way that Ellie would’ve lost balance had she been standing.
“What do you mean?” Ellie’s brows furrowed as Dina just barely pulled her face away to get a better look at the girl lying in front of her.
“I want you,” That breath against her lips was Ellie’s breaking point.
In a flash, Ellie pressed her lips to hers. Pure, raw lust completely overtook the redheaded girl. It was the wildest, most animalistic feeling she’d ever experienced in all of her life. Suddenly, both of their bodies were pressed together, and the boundaries they’d established crumbled in seconds as their lips incessantly attached to each other, over and over and over again.
That same feeling from the night before resurfaced – it was like a fire in her belly that spread throughout every muscle, every organ, every limb. The feeling of Dina’s lips against hers was enough to make her drunk with want. Dina’s hands quickly found their way up her face and into a sea of auburn hair. When Dina harshly tugged, sending Ellie’s head back in her grip, she knew she wanted to put the shorter girl underneath her and show her every ounce of attraction she’d been feeling for so long that she lost count. She didn’t want to hide it for another second.
Ellie lost all of the anxiety she’d had just seconds before, so much so that she moved to slowly position herself above that bare body, dressed clad in only that green flannel with the sleeves rolled up. The way it covered her body, the size one too many for her, was intoxicating. Boldly, Ellie moved her body up, her hands pinned at the sides of Dina’s head, making room for Dina’s hands to wander over all of the new space she gave her.
It didn’t take long for Dina to deepen their kiss, tenderly, roughly, pressing her tongue forward and sliding it slowly along Ellie’s bottom lip. Ellie pushed back into her, allowing her own tongue to peek out and prod carefully at hers as Dina’s teeth came out to play, biting down on the same lip she’d caressed with her tongue and pulling back with the flesh still between those perfect teeth.
When Ellie sighed at the way her lip was pulled forward, Dina smirked against her mouth, those soft hands – that contrasted against Ellie’s calloused ones – trailed their way down her neck and gripped those strong shoulders tightly, as she made it a point to wrap those thin, delicious legs around a toned waist, holding her in place as she brought her lips down to kiss her again, fervently, like she had before.
Her mind raced at a million miles as she felt legs wrapping around her abdomen, naturally bringing Ellie’s hips down into her own. When Ellie brought her hips down much more stridently than Dina had expected against hers, a gasp escaped from the girl below her. Giving Ellie the upper hand, she moved her head to the side of Dina’s delectable neck, only able to press a few wet kisses into the fragile skin before she felt those legs squeezing tighter, and suddenly, she was on her back, dark eyes beating down triumphantly into hers.
Surprised, Ellie tried to maneuver her way back in order to regain control, but it was Dina who had the upper hand as she straddled the taller girl’s waist. All of Ellie’s thoughts vaporized as Dina’s hips began a slow rocking motion, grating against her own.
The shyness returned in Ellie as she realized she was at the complete mercy of the girl above her, who was grinding away against her without a care in the world. Her eyes ran over the expanse of skin that was bared to her, no longer fighting the urge to look. Dina’s smirk returned as she watched the girl beneath her gape at her body, which only prompted her to keep her actions up – bare thighs rubbing hard against the soft pants Ellie had been wearing from the night before.
She could see every freckle littered across a thin, supple abdomen, those small but perfect breasts still concealed by the flannel that hung off of her. Dina’s hands pressed down against Ellie’s upper chest, giving her leverage to continue the movement of her hips above her. Ellie groaned at the ever-satisfying friction, her hands falling at the sides of her head as she slowly gave in to her.
Dina’s hands pressed down on her wrists, keeping them pinned to the pillow behind her head, and Ellie watched as the girl above her fought the moans and whimpers, trying to keep her composure as she took control over the girl. Ellie let the small sighs pass from her lips, running between both of them like a waterfall between the cliffs.
Slowly but surely, Dina’s hands moved from pinning Ellie to roaming over the torso in front of her. She felt the girl’s hands tug at the hem of her shirt desperately, looking deeply into Ellie’s eyes with reluctance – the first she’d seen in Dina during all of this. Ellie just stared back, and that was all Dina needed. Tugging the fabric again to get Ellie to sit up, she quickly brought the article above her lover’s head and tossed it across the room.
It was then that Dina was finally the one encompassed in vulnerability. “Fuck, Ellie…” she whispered, drinking in her toned upper-half thirstily. Her eyes zoned in on that black sports bra that held very small breasts behind them. Dina allowed her hands to run over that bra as her eyes found their way inevitably to the toned abdomen just beneath it. Staring in awe at the girl below her, Ellie finally got her chance.
Turning them back into their original position, Ellie placed above her, hips pressing down into Dina’s, she held the smaller girl firmly beneath her. It was her turn to look down with triumph at a shocked Dina. Maintaining that eye contact, Ellie pressed her hips into Dina’s again, causing a throaty, involuntary moan to surpass Dina’s lips. She awed at the sight of Dina’s head thrown back against the pillow.
Urgently, Dina’s fingers found their way at the hem of Ellie’s sports bra. “Can I please take this off?” she pleaded, and Ellie just couldn’t resist that voice. She helped Dina rip the bra up and over her head, joining her shirt across the room, by the door. They continued to passionately kiss as their hands wandered over marked, warm skin.
Both of them took a moment to take everything in – it had all happened so fast. Gasping for breath, they both admired the view of each other for the first time since the first plunge. Dina was flushed, her skin just lightly brushed with sweat, combating the cool air around them. Her thick, black hair was frazzled, the band struggling to withstand all of the movement, rendering her bun a mess. The flannel had parted, revealing those supple breasts, peaks hard in the cold, and from all of the heat they exchanged. It was a sight Ellie had only dreamed of, and to have it here, bared in front of her, all for her to take in – it was overwhelming.
“You’re perfect,” Dina’s whisper broke her thoughts, and Ellie watched as the girl took in every inch of skin, every divot and scar, every mark and freckle. She traced each mark with her finger, going from one to the other, before her hands fell against soft abs that glowed in the morning sun. A wild hunger flashed in those dark eyes.
“So are you,” Ellie’s first words since even before they’d began this impulsive journey of each other. Dina grinned at those words, and pulled her down by the hair to begin more strands of kisses.
Ellie reached to move more of the flannel out of the way of that delicious skin. Dina must’ve noticed, as she leaned up – not breaking their passionate embrace – and slid the flannel down her arms, letting it fall around her, not even bothering to dispose of it. Her hands just immediately found their way back against Ellie’s face.
“I want this so much,” Dina gasped against those plump lips as the taller girl’s hands trailed down and found their way above hardened peaks. “I want you more than I’ve wanted anything.” Her lustful confession had Ellie weakened, as if she’d just taken an iron fist and punched her gut.
“I want you, too,” Ellie finally confessed, watching the satisfaction hit Dina across the face, filling her expression with even more need than before. “But I don’t want to pressure you into anything…”
It was impossible to maintain her composure with Dina looking at her like that.
“No… no, no…” Dina assured in the most appealing, breathless voice. “No, I want you to… please.” When Dina grabbed for Ellie’s hand and dragged it down her body, Ellie nearly fainted.
“I’ve…” Ellie trailed off then, insecurity gripping her entire body. “I’ve never done this…” She admitted, looking for a negative change in Dina’s expression and failing to find one. “I want this to be memorable for you… I don’t want to be terrible–”
“Ellie,” she stopped her immediately. “You won’t be terrible, I promise you. I’m going to love every second of this.” Her soft thumb gently caressed her freckled cheek. “Please touch me…” she whispered against sore lips, pressing them together again for more searing kisses.
Her hand was down just above the soft heat where Dina wanted her. Every part of her hesitated, but every part of her was hungry for her.
Reaching down and trailing her hand up her thigh, Dina’s hips jerked at the movement. Her hand was still over Ellie’s, only moving down to her wrist to guide her right where she wanted her.
But, Ellie had a different idea. She pulled away from Dina’s lips, watching her face fall with confusion and protest, but quickly slammed her eyes shut as Ellie began to trail kisses down her entire body. As she neared the center, Dina’s pleasure visibly increased; her back arching, more moans falling from her mouth, her hands finding purchase on any portion of Ellie’s skin she could reach. Tossing a leg over each of her shoulders, Ellie wasted no time dragging her tongue up that warm heat.
Ellie had never heard a sound so sweet in all her nineteen years than the sound that Dina made as Ellie’s warm tongue caressed wet folds. She silently marveled to herself at just how much moisture Dina had managed to produce down there, and an immediate strike to her confidence heightened her.
It was hard having to keep Dina’s hips still against her face, as with every movement or gesture, Dina would buck and move and thrust forward. Her head was thrown back, and every move of Ellie’s tongue would coax the sweetest sounds from the back of her throat. Dina’s hands desperately grabbed at Ellie’s red hair, pulling each clump that she grabbed with utmost desire as Ellie continued to stimulate the aching bud, causing Dina to convulse with every stroke. Every breath Ellie took, Dina would barely allow her more than a second, before she was pushing her face closer and closer into her warmth.
“Oh, fuck, Ellie…” The rawest voice echoed through her skull. “Fuck.”
Knowing this would quickly bring Dina to orgasm, she abruptly stopped, despite Dina’s forceful, desperate shoves of her head toward her core. She crawled her way back up, and when Dina realized what was happening, she reached for her, holding her by the nape of her neck and crashing their lips together in a lusty haze.
“How–” Dina panted against bruised lips. “How are you so good at that?”
Ellie felt a chuckle rise in her throat. “Thanks,” she retorted sarcastically.
Giggling, the shorter girl pressed a sweet kiss to her lips. “No, you know what I mean… You said you’ve never done this.”
“I haven’t.”
“Sure doesn’t seem like it,” Dina quirked a brow, her words coming out through a deep exhale.
The delicate atmosphere changed back into the heated one as Dina deepened their kiss, and their panting breaths began to race again. Ellie’s mind started racing again as Dina’s hands wandered all over her naked upper torso like they had just minutes before, before Ellie’s mouth wandered to sinful places. The heat between them caused sweat to form at their skin.
Dina was starting to get really needy.
“Please, Ellie, just…” Taking Ellie’s hand despairingly in hers, she dragged the larger, calloused hand down her body, to where it all mattered most. Ellie curiously ran a finger up soaked folds, resulting in a whine from the girl beneath her. “Please, I need you…”
She could listening to that delicious sound of Dina begging until she was at her deathbed.
Ellie looked at her, this time the lust replaced by genuine care for her. That look of permission was met by softened, but needy eyes. The grip around her wrist tightened, holding her against the heated mound between her thighs. It was as if she didn’t need to say anything else.
When a finger pressed gently against the bud of nerves at the helm, Dina’s body physically constricted. She grabbed for Ellie, wanting to be able to hold every expanse of skin she could manage, the devastating gasp she released just fueled Ellie, setting her off like flint against thin dry wood. With the confidence Dina’s vulnerability was providing, Ellie drew slow, smooth circles around the younger girl’s clit, being sure to move just a tad bit too slow for Dina’s liking.
“Ah, shit,” the expletives fell from her mouth in the most angelic way, and every time Ellie made a move just on that spot, she would watch with enduring contentment as Dina’s entire body would jerk and suck in a harsh, vocalized breath, and grab her that much tighter.
Pure adrenaline is the only thing that brought her finger into the warm wetness, but she was shy as she entered. Dina sucked in a long breath through clenched teeth, her knuckles turning white around Ellie’s wrist as the redhead slowly but surely guided her finger fully into her. She didn’t move for a while, as Dina’s pants filled the cold room.
Watching Dina’s back arch at every movement Ellie made with her finger, as if she were a puppet on strings and Ellie was controlling her – it was absolutely invigorating. After a few moments of tense yet comfortable silence, Ellie began to move her digit in the typical in-out motion. Bringing her finger out, before letting it sink back in, coaxing long, drawn out whines from the girl below her. Ellie’s head was resting more so against her chest and in the crook of her neck, pressing loving kisses to the delicate skin there.
“Faster…” The hot whisper fell across her ear tips, sending jolts of electricity down her spine. “You can go faster, babe.”
Ellie’s body lulled at the name she called her. There were plenty of times Dina had called her that just to watch her freckled face flush beet red in front of their friends, but to hear it roll off her tongue like that while her hand wove its way into her hair and her back arched into Ellie’s torso – it was just so pleasing.
She began to gradually build up her speed, allowing her finger to curl forward just a bit, which caused Dina’s body to continue jerking, her hips involuntarily bucking against Ellie’s digit. She’d never heard such a sound as Dina’s breathy, higher pitched moans, secreting from her lips as she tossed her head back. One hand maneuvered through Ellie’s hair and down her neck to sculpted shoulders, and the other grabbed the end of the headboard above her. The warmth around Ellie’s finger was dizzying.
“God, Ellie,” that normally soft yet raspy voice was completely glazed over in lust. “You’re so fucking good, don’t stop.”
The encouragement from the girl whose body was trapped beneath hers was all it took for Ellie to find it in her to slowly add another finger. Watching Dina clench her teeth and visibly grimace, she waited for any kind of look of relief. It only took mere seconds for her hips to buck again, signaling to Ellie to continue. The excitement built up in Ellie was slowly starting to release, too, as she found herself needing to clench her legs with a groan against freckled skin.
When Dina looked down to see the messy girl looking back up at her, she smiled.
“You’re so hot,” she whispered, taking in the sight of Ellie, half naked, hair a matted mess, strong, built arm angled with hand between her legs. Ellie, on the other hand, took in a very similar view.
Returning to the speed she’d reached before, Ellie fiercely pumped her fingers in and out of her, drowning in the mixture of cold from the air, the heat from Dina’s body, the pain in her arm heightening, and the sweet calls of her name. Her moans only became more long and frequent, higher-pitched in nature, as Ellie pressed further and further into her heat.
“Ellie… ah… fuck…” the voice caught her by surprise, and when she looked to see the girl in near panic, it only fueled her more. “I’m so close…”
As Ellie hit a particularly good spot, within her, Dina shrieked as the waves of her orgasm hit her, all at once. Ellie began to slow down, fingers curving in the same similar pattern in order to continue stimulating that spot that brought those noises from Dina. Gripping onto Ellie’s shoulders and hair as if she were floating away, Dina’s body curled and jerked as her orgasm ripped through her.
It took a mere minute for Dina to come back down.
Panting in disbelief and satisfaction, Dina’s body went limp beneath Ellie’s, prompting Ellie to suspend her exhausted muscles, letting herself lie on the shorter girl as she curled pieces of auburn hair between her fingers. Ellie panted, too, against the skin of Dina’s chest and breasts, and as she watched her chest rise and fall, she could hear the faint but rapid pulse through the flushed skin.
“Are you okay?” Ellie whispered then.
A giggle surpassed her lips. “More than okay,” Dina smiled, staring up into the old ceiling. “But…” she used what ever exhausted energy she had left to attempt to sit up with the limp redhead weighted on her. “Maybe I should let you experience it.”
Noticing the clear tired expression, Ellie laid her back down with a small, guiding push of her hand.
“You’re exhausted,” she stated, dumbly.
“And?” Dina challenged.
“And,” Ellie exaggerated. “You should take a chill pill.”
“You underestimate my stamina, Freckles.”
“Why don’t you relax?” Ellie suggested. “And, hey, maybe if you’re good enough, I’ll let you borrow that flannel again.”
Humming amusedly, Dina shot her an unsure look.
“Might wanna wash that first.”

Chapter 14: Good Day Sunshine
Waking up next to Dina seems like a dream come true. Ellie closes her eyes tight and lets them snap back open expecting to be alone in her bed, but somehow, the most beautiful human she’s ever seen is still laying in front of her sleeping soundly. Black hair rests haphazardly contrasting the stark white pillow beneath it. Golden light sprays from the window lighting up the flawless features of Dina’s face. Ellie can’t keep her hand from moving on its own to reach out and trace them delicately. She truly didn’t mean to wake Dina up but the way sleepy brown eyes smile at her when they open makes Ellie secretly glad she did.
“Good day sunshine, did I wake you?”
Dina pulls the covers tight under her chin and lets her eyes close again. She wiggles closer and snuggles her face into a strong neck. “Yes, but that’s okay.”
“I’m sorry, I can go if you want to sleep more.” Regretting the suggestion as soon as she makes it, Ellie would rather die than leave. Thankfully, a soft hand slides around her waist and pulls her closer. The sudden body contact makes it painfully obvious that neither one of them had felt the need to put clothes back on last night. Feeling her heart rate already picking up speed, Ellie quickly focuses on the outlines she begins tracing on the smaller girl’s back. Any shape, word, picture she can think of to keep her mind occupied. Warm, muffled words against her collarbone force her out of intense concentration.
“Pretty crazy night huh?” Dina mumbles quietly.
Automatic anxiety fills Ellie’s lanky body. “Crazy good or crazy bad?” The obvious nervousness in her voice makes Dina pull back and look up at her with bewilderment.
“Are you serious?”
“Umm…. Well…. uhm…. maybe?” Ellie can feel her cheeks heating up. Why can’t I speak like a normal human?
“Ellie, years of imagining had nothing on that.”
Emerald and brown eyes both widen at the statement that lingers in the air. Years? Oh, my fucking god, years?! Her mind races with the notion. “Years?” Ellie can’t keep the question from spilling off her lips.
A highly rare red dusts across Dina’s cheeks. She buries her face into Ellie’s strong neck trying to hide from the shocked emerald eyes staring into her.
Ellie feels like a nuclear bomb has decimated her mind. There’s no way. I have to know more. Strong hands push a still obviously crimson face upward. The slightly embarrassed look on Dina’s face catches he taller girl off guard. The usual overly confident girl looks like a totally different person.
“You’re kidding right?” Ellie laughs still not believing that Dina had thought of her in that way for more than the past few weeks.
“I’m not actually,” Dina’s voice a hushed whisper.
“Oh my god, since when, where, how?” Ellie can’t stop the questions from flowing.
Brown eyes dart away shyly. “Remember your seventeenth birthday?”
She does. It had always been one of her favorite memories with Dina. The way they had drunk and danced and fell. They had almost kissed before Dina quickly pulled away. But Ellie had written it off as a hopeless dream that would never come true. She believed all the feelings were only strictly felt from her side so she never pressed about what had almost happened.
“Yes?”
“After you fell asleep, I couldn’t get what could have happened out of my head. I wanted you. Bad.” A deeper crimson flushes Dina’s face as she continues still refusing to look up. “I thought maybe I was just drunk, but the next morning I wanted you more than the night before. I pushed it all away because you were, are, my best friend and I didn’t want to ruin that. That’s about when I started seeing Jesse to I guess subconsciously distract myself. I really did care for him but…” Her voice trails off lost in thought.
“But?”
“He wasn’t you. That’s probably why we had so many problems. He is a great guy and I feel bad for stringing him along. All of my feelings kept building up but I shoved them back down. Until you sang that stupid song and I couldn’t do it anymore. I tried one last-ditch effort with Jesse to stop myself from acting on my feelings but it just made it worse for both of us. Then I just said fuck it and well here we are. So yes, last night was something I have wanted for a very long time.” Dina’s last few sentences are hurried and jumbled. Brown eyes finally look up to see a deer caught in headlights.
Ellie’s brain can’t even begin to process the words that just filled the empty room. The nervous look on Dina’s face makes her pull herself together quickly wanting to respond in some way. But how? Words are glued to the back of her throat from the complete surprise she feels. Finally, her mouth moves on its own. “So, we could have been banging two years ago?” A stupid smile pulls on her lips when she sees the half-amused, half annoyed look on Dina’s face.
“Oh my god, your such a lame-ass.” The usual confidently girl is back, groaning as she playful pushes Ellie’s face away from her.
“It’s okay, I have a lot of people secretly pining away for me so that’s probably why I didn’t notice.” Ellie teases with a hand still smushing her face.
“If you keep it up your going to have one less!” the smaller girl pretends to be annoyed and pushes Ellie almost off the bed.
Ellie can’t help the feeling of pure delight knowing that Dina had wanted her all along, even if she had totally been oblivious to it. Strong hands get into a shoving match with soft ones causing giggles to fill the cold, empty room. It doesn’t end until Ellie tumbles into the floor in a mess of sheets with a loud thump. “Ow, fuck.”
“Oh shit, are you ok… Ellie DON’T!”
Ellie takes Dina’s moment of concern and pulls her off the bed with the rest of the covers. Her laugh echoes at the daggers Dina shoots her.
“If you weren’t so cute, I’d kill you, Williams.”
The kiss that follows Dina’s complement slash threat sends Ellie spiraling. It pulls all the memories from the night before rapidly to the front of her mind. She wastes no time pinning the smaller girl beneath her. The skin on skin contact lights the blood in her veins on fire. Dina melts under her touch, turning into a mess of hot moans and muffled sighs. Reeling from the excitement Ellie barely notices when Dina flips her over, pinning strong wrists to the floor.
“Your turn.”
“Huh?”
“I told you a secret now you have to tell me one. What is your deepest, darkest secret Williams?”
Everything inside Ellie goes cold except the scar hidden under her tattoo. It burns, threatening to catch fire. Yes, her and Joel had burnt the scar with acid hoping to help conceal her secret, but if you felt hard enough and knew what to look for it was still there. Many times, she had wanted to tell Dina but it was too risky. It hurt to hide this part of herself but it would hurt more if people she cared about turned away. Dark brown eyes search hers intensely trying to find something. I have to come up with something. I can’t tell her.
“Any day now,” Dina pries as she grips Ellie’s wrists tighter.
“Ummm…. I don’t think I have…” The look Dina gives her stops her pathetic attempt. Say something idiot! Anything before you mess everything up again! Ellie panics trying to come up with anything to get Dina’s all-knowing eyes off her. “Uhhh… I actually like Titanic.” Ellie holds her breath hoping this with suffice as an answer. Dina searches her freckled face intensely for any signs of deception.
A big grin pulls on soft lips. “I fucking knew it! The big brooding Ellie Williams likes a love story! Aww, that’s so cute.”
A tidal wave of relief threatens to drown Ellie. Although something inside still worries about the thought of Dina finding out, she pushes it to the darkest corner of her mind. “Oh, shut up,” she giggles pushing away the smaller girl that is now obnoxiously making kissing noises at her.
The teasing continues until Ellie flips the smaller girl under her and drives a forceful thigh between her legs. This always makes the words in Dina’s throat catch, this time is no exception. The blush from the unexpected contact covers a beautiful face and drives Ellie wild. Strong hands fly over soft skin, feeling roughly. Teeth bite tenderly down the smaller girl’s neck, drawing out loud moans. Nails dig into shapely hips and scratch up toned thighs. Ellie feels less and less in control as she ravages Dina against the floor.
“Fuck Ellie, where is all this coming from?” Dina gasps aloud, getting lost in the lustfully aggressive actions of the girl on top of her.
Devilish green eyes match the evil grin spreading across a freckled face. “I’m just trying to make up for the past two years.”
“Hey, you wanna do something fun tonight?” Dina asks as she readjusts on Ellie’s lap to look lovingly up at her. The recliner definitely wasn’t big enough for the two of them but they made it work while they watched a movie. A certain movie Ellie had confessed to enjoying earlier that morning. Both having a day off, they spent most of it being lazy and sharing a few more heated moments than they’d like to admit.
“Who’s asking?”
“Me, asshole.” Dina playfully punches a strong shoulder.
A devilish thought runs through Ellie’s mind. “I’m not sure, I kind of had plans later.” Brown eyes widen giving her the response she wants.
“With who? Joel won’t be back till tomorrow.” A hint of defensiveness laces the smaller girl’s words.
Got her. Ellie keeps her face as calm as possible as she delivers the killer blow. “That new girl Emily and I had watch the other night together and she invited me over for dinner.” She watches the fire ignite behind brown eyes. It takes everything to keep from laughing at Dina’s poor attempt to hide her jealousy. It felt good to rile her up since Dina made it her sole mission to get Ellie flustered at any chance possible.
“Is that a problem?” Ellie challenges confidently.
“I… no it’s not. But if she makes a move on you so help me God.”
“Oh, I didn’t know we were exclusive?” Ellie knows she’s walking on thin ice but the way Dina’s face reddens makes it worth it.
“Don’t push it, Williams,” she hisses staring daggers back at the taller girl.
“Push what?” She makes her voice annoyingly innocent with emerald eyes that match.
“You’re mine Ellie, I’m not sharing.” The deep growl in Dina’s voice sends a shiver down the taller girl’s spine. Wrapped up in jealousy, words quickly spill without thought. “So, you let her know that if she lays a finger on you, your girlfriend will gladly come and break it off.”
Bingo. “Oh, girlfriend is it?” Unable to continue her charade, a sly smile pulls on her lips.
Dark brown eyes enlarge finally catching on. “Ellie you fucking asshole, she didn’t even ask you did she!”
The laugh that had been forced away comes booming out into the quiet air. The annoyed fury in Dina’s eyes only makes it that much funnier. “We barely talked the whole night. You should have seen your face though, it was priceless.” Pride flows through her veins at the fact that she finally, truly got Dina worked up.
“You’re such a dick,” Dina mumbles with pure annoyance.
Strong arms wrap around the small girl squeezing her tight. “Oh, don’t pout. I’m just fucking with you.” Ellie peppers kisses on a still firmly clenched jaw loosening it slightly. “And besides, you’re the only idiot who would even think of being my girlfriend anyway.”
Hard brown eyes melt along with the annoyance shown in Dina’s face. “I do want to be your girlfriend though.”
Ellie chuckles still not comprehending the words she’d only dreamed of hearing. “Are you sure, it’s not too late to back out.” Her joking stops abruptly when she sees the serious look in the smaller girl’s eyes. Holy shit she’s not kidding.
“I’m sure. If that’s what you want too.”
Ellie’s heart feels like it could explode at any moment. Dina would actually be her girlfriend. It still didn’t seem real.
“More than anything.” A toothy grin stretches across her freckled face, too happy to even care about how cheesy her answer had been. She kisses soft lips still smiling uncontrollably. Ellie pulls her girlfriend closer wanting to stay in this moment forever.
Notes:
Felt like writing a mostly fluff chapter because I don’t want to think about all the terrible things that will probably happen in the game. Thanks for reading! And of course the inspiration song for this chapter is pure fluff as well lol.
