『退色~』

you know what makes me really happy about the city? the fact that when i’m in the car and i see all these people rusing to work, or some people just chillin and taking their time. how some people walk out the store with bacon egg and cheese sandwiches or some orange juice, how sometimes people greet one another with a big smile and wave at them even if they don’t know them, they just know that if they say it to a complete stranger it can just make their day 1000% better. i love how during the evening you can see the skyscraper reaching high, touching the beautiful orange, red-ish mixed sky. people leaving work, some people walking with their friends, siblings, parents, boyfriends, husbands or even someone who they like a lot with a bright smile on their faces or maybe just a chilled expression. in the city, there’s so many personalities, so many people that you have thought you might never see or meet before. there are the good and sometimes even the bad kind of people, but to me it still makes me happy and i feel warmth from thinking of that. i love how in the night when only the moon and stars shine, in the apartment buildings you can see lights on, some dimmed or some off and it makes me smile so hard because then i realize that there are people living in there, people doing certain things like preparing dinner, or watching movies or even in their bedroom with the person whom they love, possibly sleeping, kissing, reminding each other how much they love each other, etc. it’s such an amazing image for me, especially when there are people still on the street at night. some people touring around the big, colorful areas where there are large screens on the buildings, where they may be advertising face wash products. there are people late at night walking by themselves trying to find out who they really are, thinking about out situations that they are dealing with in their lives and making certain decisions that might change almost everything. then once again in the morning, it starts all over again. it repeats. that’s what i love about the city so much, the city never sleeps.
