Gonna use this as a confessional to get #real for a second, no strings attached. Thinking about this fic makes me feel abject misery, and for maybe the dumbest/most embarrassing reason ever lol. My child that I put so much of myself into...... There isn't a specific reason for why I stopped updating it, I don't have "an excuse" that's related to the fic itself rather than. life & co. (it doesn't work like that, I know. But it is how it feels), which is why I've felt its spectre hanging over me really often for all these years. Each time I made a contribution to a fandon, no matter in which form, no matter how much or how little effort I put into it, in the back of my mind there was always a voice that would say "But what about The Fic. What about It". _(:| 」∠)_ And each time I did try to listen to that voice, all I felt was immeasurable guilt, as well as the need to push it all away and go back to not thinking about it (and failing). Rinse and repeat. But I want to finally sit my ass down and do something about it. Not (only) out of guilt towards the fic itself (incomprehensible thing to experience) or towards all my readers, and not even to not feel its burden anymore, but because. Because it's my child that I put so much of myself and my passion and my time and my energy and my love into. I want to feel that again!!! I want to see it through to the end, damn it!!!!!!
